that because u report to tmnet. report to telekom(100). i already did that. tell them u streamyx at your house have disconnection problem and tmnet already say that there is no problem at their side, tmnet ask me to call telekom for check the internal wiring. ask them to send technician at your house.

Latest update: Finally 23-3-07 evening, 6.31pm, the telekom people has come to my house. he asked me to plug my line to phone and try n see whether it works or not. then i do what he asked me to, and the line can be used to call other people. so the telekom people say it is not the line problem but streamyx's. on the other hand, streamyx say when i can online, it means the streamyx has no problem, and if i get frequent disconnection, it is about the line. Yes, both side saying that the problem are not theirs'. After that, TMNet called up me and given the local TELEKOM technician's contact No. to me (They want me directly to contact the technician) But, the TELEKOM technician still never settle the problem for me after I have told him about my case! i helped my cousin report to tm last time till they said "no need to report again" (after every 24hours), made 8-9times report..finally they sent someone to fixed the line//
IMO, report kuat kuat again

It is means that whenever the SNR margin below par is mostly due to the phone line problem? Cause mine doesn't have any noise when pickup the phone.
Current SNR margin is between 8 - 15 only. Therefore i been disconnect almost 10 mins frequently. Effort to call Streamyx help is dissappointing coz they always divert us to tmnet. Shouldn't they inform the tmnet to come and check our line since they already know most of the SNR margin low is due to phone line rather than DSLAM.

Oh my God, just got to know actually there's so many people having this "frequent disconnect" problem like I do. AHahaha! Felt kinda funny reading the posts you guys made. Well, as you guys can see, my SNR margin is kinda low. It's average is always around 15. And my Line Attenuation is always high high up the sky. And yes, I get this "frequeeeeeent disconnect" thing. Well, I called up the 1-300-88-9515 streamyx customer service blah blah blah and it always ended up saying " call the telekom olang, it must be your phone line problem" . Then, yeah I followed what they asked, I called up the telekom people, get them checked my phone line. And the telekom fella said "it's something wrong with your port". WTF PORT?! I don't even know that. Well then, he said he will correct the phone port for me and I will not disconnect again. He said that it'll be done in 2-3hrs time. I waited. Then when I tried to online back, it disconnected after few minutes again. -.- THIS IS KINDA PISSING ME OFF! What should I do next?  LOL. Btw, try looking at my errors. Umm, I'm staying in Klang, Selangor. I've a friend staying at my area also using the same streamyx package as I do (RM77) but he doesn't dc at all.. And, there's hell lots of errors! Should I call for streamyx's customer service again and insist of requesting a technician to my house and see what's wrong with my line? Cause I'm intending to do that. However, this is my line's "6am" 's statue:  Pretty good, huh? My line is pretty good in the morning, but in the afternoon and at night, I kept on getting disconnected. So, I want to report, .. LOL, I tested with so many different brands of modems, Aztech, D-Link, ZTD. They all showed out the same results. Ohyah btw, I subscribed the streamyx for at least 5 yrs already. Does that affect the reliability of the cable too? I meant, the cable/ phone line is old already.. Ok, I'll try to request for technicians. And, this are the readings after it past 10.00am.  And yeah you're right. SNR Margin - 20DB isn't good at all. I got disconnected for 3 times from 9.00am - 10.00am. It's approximately I got dc-ed every 20 minutes and yeah that's hella annoying!
