your line attenuation 50dB-60dB is poor and may experience connectivity issues

Guys, what do you think of my line as shown above? I'm connected to an RDSLAM that's only a few hundred metres away from my house.

anyone can answer my question?

your line quite ok for me,
for your info,tm capped the port all to get that value of downstream and upstream,

and the speed that u get, i think better u test with speedometer to get the right speed

Higher is better, minimum = 6 dB.

Downstream Power = < 15 dBm.

Lower is better.

Upstream SNR = 10 dB.

Higher is better.

Upstream Power = < 15 dBm.

Lower is better.

Downstream Attenuation = < 30 dB

Lower is better, maximum = 60 dB.

Upstream Attenuation = < 30 dB

Lower is better, maximum = 60 dB.

Downstream SNR = 06 dB.

Higher is not better, within range is better = 05 - 07 dB.

Downstream Power = < xx dBm.

Lower is better.

Upstream SNR = 06 dB.

Higher is not better, within range is better = 05 - 07 dB.

Lower is better, maximum = 22 dB (for 10mbps), 12 dB (for ~25mbps).

Hmm, didn't get any feedback from you guys regarding my previous problem but I'll share this with you all anyway. Got my line re-routed from the main DSLAM to an RDSLAM near my house. Problem solved! However, I'm getting IP addresses in the range of 60.x. I think I might be going through some fibre optic lines.



Previously, the SNR ratio was about 10dB and the line attenuation, 55-57dB.

i perform the speedtest at Tmnet speedometer and this speed i get:

With RM66 package 512Kbps??? OMG

look at mine....now suffering download problem with only 256kbps (with 512k package )

anyone suffer this before..how to solve this problem

your modem status look ok ..
and i think this is from TM side,report to then and ask them to check your line and your speed,

I keep telling them, they might capped my line to 256...but they insists everything is fine..then i request them to make a report and investigate it...hope everything goes fine..

welll, your attenuation is high.

wrong capped line....so which side i should report to? tm (100) or streamyx (1300 88 9515 )?

The weirdest thing is, although my SNR is lower but I can connect the net for 11 hours without disconnection.

Before this, every 1 hours I will have a disconnection.

Weird:
1. trained modulation changed...
2. US line attenuation become from 31 to 6
3. Path Mode changed...
What does that mean?

Since my DS margin is very low(6-7db), I'm guessing my house is located far away from the DSLAM.

After I have report this case to TMNet, then the technician have do the checking to DSLAM.

The technician have told me that the distance from my house to DSLAM exchange is only 3.5KM.

After that, nothing have been changed(still disconnection happen)...


REALLY CANNOT EXPECT SOMETHING MORE FROM TMNut!!!

that problem from TM cable,
they will not change the whole cable just becoz one or 2 users get the problem..

have u try with another modem??how the result with another modem??
