first they will make sure what is the main problem, let say the problem is from cabinet TM to DP box,this case they can't change to another cable if the cable full of users,
if from Dpbox to your home, this call as drop cable,
and maybe this can change if the problem come from that,
technie from TM will not charge u, this is thier job,and TM already paid for them
but if u want to give a cup of coffee ,it's up to you..
