You guys actually read STOMP?
Anyone buying insurance in Singapore? Such as those term life, capital guarantee, or savings type of insurance?

Am considering whether to "top up" Malaysian insurance, or buying one in Singapore.

Anyway, no perf bonus nor pay raise for me this year, although I've got my pro-rated 13th month salary. I guess it's fair enough since I started work last September.

still pending for them to call me back on this
but did a comparison last week dollar to dollar, comparing AIA malaysia and ntuc,
ntuc term life is really cheap 50plus dollar for 300k sweat.gif

If you are going to stay 1 month there, you should have time to walk around. Forgot the names spelling,
Park Guelle, Sagrada Familia temple, I think there is a bull fighting ring also (not used anymore?).
If got full day, try to goto Montserrat by train. They have some funny buildings also with tiles and books, etc.
MNG and Mango there are like Giordano/Baleno here, everywhere also have shops.
That's all I recall now.

If got > 2D time, take overnight train/bus to Zaragoza, Madrid, Valencia.

OOT already tongue.gif Working in Spain

Either that or they will exploit you and play mind games with you since they know if your an FT, you will value your position in your company more so then a singapore citizen or PR.

Im not so concerned about the typical singaporen employer since i am no longer employed by one and i only drop into singapore if i am on assignment.

this is so true..like how we malaysian exploit indonesian, phillipine worker.. tongue.gif sad but true

Landlord should be worry that you might be illegal immigrant, not you.

You should be worry that he is the real owner and not a conn man.

Guys, a fren of mine wanted to let go his whole unit (i think one bedroom, can't remember) rented house in Chinatown. Monthly rental is $1450 only.
For those working in town, its very near.
The downside is its near construction and the area is indeed CHINATOWN.
So let me know if you interested to take over.
