QUOTE(gregy @ Apr 5 2012, 04:16 PM)
How come you didn't pay a single sen for a whole year and the bank didn't chase you at all?

AFAIK CCRIS is a monthly updated system, with records that last a year. Every month, whatever liabilities under your name will be listed out, with your net position totalled up. For every item on the list, there will be a mark. "0" means you are on time. "1" means one month late, "2" means two months late, so on. I think the max is "3" or "4". Usually, if you have a lot of "3" and "4", you can forget about taking any loans.

However, once you've cleared the debt, the following month the item will show "0". However, since the list lasts for a year, the last 11 months showing "3" and "4" will still be shown. To be completely cleared, you need to maintain "0" or maximum "1" for up to a year before you can reapply for any loan.

As for CTOS, this involves cases where your creditors have engaged legal action to recover the amount from you. As long as you haven't cleared the debt, the case will be open. Once you clear it, your creditors are under obligation to report to CTOS to close the case. To make it faster, bring the documents to CTOS to prove that you have paid, so they can update your system.

Although it is true that with CTOS there will be a mark on your record, but if you maintain a clean CCRIS for a good amount of time and no longer any new cases of CCRIS and CTOS, banks will reconsider giving you new facilities. After all, they're all desperate for new sales but must operate within the confines of the law.

Hi, you can try to adjust the dimmer switch at the lower right side of the dashboard. Maybe the guy accidentally adjusted it.

i wanted something with good fc and space also nice design and gadget is bonus...hahah sound greedy.... tongue.gif
u said the engine is no good for fc?? for this 6 speed engine??? or u talking bout the citra last time...??? really hope to get more real experience....

seems like prius will be ur choice due to good fc n big enuf
im not saying the forte FC no good but of coz hybrid will be having the best FC (i suppose la, nv drive a hybrid car b4) wat i read from forum, forte avr fc for city driving is about 10-12L/100KM

to me, i need a bigger car for my family. im not a salesperson n only drive to office everyday (about 20min). thus, 'normal fc' will be ok to me.
as a conclusion, forte is value for money, suit my requirement n within my budget

perhaps u can list down the cars u interested and rate them 1 to 5 1=worst and 5=best
for example,
FC:
hybrid - 5
vios - 4
city - 3
forte - 2
elantra - 1
then follow by space, design, gadget etc. after all these u juz sum up all the rating and u will know which car suit u most

this is the cee'd sedan or it could be the next Forte?.
*
The Cee'd, like the previous generation model, is a European market exclusive. It's a hatchback and at the moment there aren't any news suggesting that it'll have a sedan version, although there are already plans for an estate which offers much more boot space. The previous generation Ceed had a younger sister called Pro-ceed and it's very likely that this new one would have a 3-door sporty version as well.

As for the new Forte, no one really knows how it would look like or what specifications it will offer. If one were to speculate, it's likely that the new Forte will share the same tiger nose grill like the Cee'd and the K9, although it would be a lazy effort for Kia if the new Forte is just a booted Cee'd. The Forte was born in 2009, hence the new model would likely be hinted around mid-2013, and we should be able to see prototype pictures by late next year or early 2014.

It's the scroller next to the ESC-off button located at the lower right area of your dashboard.

Some pics are already circulating around the net of mules being tested. It rides on the current Elantra chassis, so from the looks of the mule I am guessing that the design is already almost certain. You can google it for more info: 2013 Forte

Those are test mule pictures, and yes we can speculate on how it would look like but it is hard to have a clear idea on the overall look since most of the parts are camouflaged or deliberately concealed.

What we can tell so far includes the tiger nose grill that I mentioned, eyebrows not unlike the E60 but with LEDs, extra piece of glass in front of the side mirrors, and a rear roor with two ugly curves. Can't tell much about car's body especially side panels, especially whether it will be smooth and clean or incorporate the Bangle-famed flame surface with lots of lines that the new A and B class have. It's good to see that they are persisting with the angular shoulder line which makes the current Forte look more chiselled and muscular, but so far the pictures hint towards a softer, more curvy look. In fact, it's more Frascella than Schreyer although we don't know who's the one sketching it for now.

I'm still quite reserved on its overall appearance. One thing's for sure, it won't look as aggressive as the sketches. Production models are always toned down.
