Can I remove it? QUOTE(fastandfurious @ Jun 8 2012, 07:32 AM) QUOTE(ghostshell99 @ Jun 8 2012, 02:05 PM) This is the European standard for paint code. Its the sample for your future source of your paint code should you have an accident and need repair. For Malaysia, I think majority of the paint workshops will know the coding therefore they do not need this sample. Anyway no harm leaving it there. So, to keep the paint code, shd we remove it and keep in a safe place or leave it at the car body? This post has been edited by kelvin_ncp: Jun 9 2012, 11:09 AM |

What kind of body kit material do you guys prefer?
Some SAs are giving pp b/kit but I found that pu b/kit looks nicer with its forte logo and the color is also very alike (white). QUOTE(zouk88 @ Jun 10 2012, 01:51 PM) Hi guys...im planning to buy forte either 2.0 or 1.6...can all sifu here advise me any difference between both in term interior? power wise obviously a 2.0 engine is better. the forte 1.6 has 126hp on a 1270 KG curb weight (if not mistaken) - similar to waja - i would say that's sufficient, but as I said, 2.0 will definitely be better - if you can afford - go for 2.0. Difference in features you can see the main page, there's a FAQ written by me on the differences. More importantly, waja is using 4 speed gearbox vs forte's 6 speed (2011 batch onwards) so your pickup should be somewhat better and not to mention the 1.6 SX has paddle shifters - if you need more power without pressing the accelerator so hard, you could keep the gear longer around 4-5k RPM before upshifting - that'll give you a fair bit of power to play with. Don't underestimate paddle shifters thinking that it's just a gimmick - it is useful for overtaking. I use it pretty much everyday to overtake cars rather than pressing the accelerator harder to "tell" the gearbox to downshift, i do it myself. As i knw 2.0 is leather seat n 1.6 only fabric..how bout res? Bro thanks alot for the advise...i checked the catalog..i found that the differences 1.6 & 2.0 is just leather seat & auto cruise..leather seat i can wrap at acc's shop...auto cruise i think i wont use much. so after reading what u write...i think i will go for 1.6 but of course if i can afford 2.0 as u say i will go fr 2.0.... just to understand more on the paddle shift...correct me if im wrong...let say im driving in auto mode...than i wan overtake car infront..is it i just push the gear to manual & press the (-) on the paddle shift & overtake? or just press the (-) paddle shift no need switch to manual gear? Thanks |
