QUOTE(hisel @ Feb 15 2012, 08:33 PM) 5N have significant improve on the sensor, which have very high ranking in Image quality and high ISO performance. And the touch focusing is great for direct composing! the IQ on review seems better than NEX7! The 7 is great with EVF, built-in flash, hot shoe and Tri-navi, while the size and weight and just slightly increased. but the price is too much different for upgrade 5N and 7, since EVF is not my main concern. |

QUOTE(akRia @ Feb 16 2012, 10:20 PM) guys, anyone tried SLR Magic 28mm f2.8 for Sony Nex?? I tested it before, and it's better than the 35mm f1,7 for the Nex mount.i read the review from the internet and its seem to have a lot positive review... and its cheap LOL!!!! found this guy selling... http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=2221842&hl= But for me, so far, the best E-mount lens for prime lens is the Nokton 50mm f0.95 prime lens Just that its fully manual focus, something which is not bad on the Nex for the focus peaking. |

Rumor has it that TAMRON Europe acknowledges the Sweep panorama issue and will issue a firmware fix by end of March.
On another note, went to Tanjung sepat with Friends, so more new pics in the gallery. ![]() No photo taking for the next few days, as I have just sent my NEX-5 to Sony center KLCC for sensor cleaning. The lady mentioned that it should take 5 days or less and will call if it finishes sooner. It's generally RM20 for sensor cleaning after warranty but it can balloon up to RM150 depending on what dirt and gunk u've got on the sensor. for that price i rather go for better brand lens + adapter!
Voigtlander Nokton 25mm f/0.95 MICRO 4/3 mount will be better option with similar price. Although got vignetting at corners but still better glass. Even can just top up some to get Voigtlander 50mm 1.1 M mount or other zeiss and leica. |

I am waiting for someone to bring the Nokton in so I can organize a TT session, but so far, no luck. However, the 28mm, I might be able to get my hands on one or two unit if anyone is indeed interested. QUOTE(Dreamworks @ Feb 16 2012, 10:27 PM) Which also happens to be 4x more expensive than what he mentioned. Heck, even the design itself looks good Lolz, yeap. Cost roughly bout 3k after HK price conversion. So that makes it, roughly, 7 times more expensive than the 28mm LOL |

QUOTE(cas6205 @ Feb 17 2012, 11:24 AM) Guys, I'm having problem on video playback using GOM and VLC where there are a lot of lines on the the moving object. Your video is interlaced, hence the scanned lines. To smooth out the lines, you need to turn on the deinterlacing mode on VLC, but this will require a lot of processing power.Any solution to this?
