Just played with Nex-7 at mid valley Sony. Rm4499 just body. No kit yet.
It's small! And quiet, not as quiet as x100 but good enough. AF seems fast to me. EVF is good but not great. Only glass can beat it. Love tri navi but I wish the knobs has more resistance. Right now it's too easy to knock them off their settings.
Still no 50mm lens yet

stimix, another question you need to ask is, is that Hoya genuine or fake. Lots of fake Hoya filters out there Btw the best filter is no filter

i wonder why our Sony Malaysia's price has such a great difference compare to the US. the normal Nex kit is about the same, even cheaper than US but when it comes to lenses and Nex-7, we have to pay so much more I had it and ordered the SEL50f18 from US instead. Even after paying for UPS shipping, its still going to be cheaper than local stores

QUOTE(lencent @ Feb 15 2012, 02:26 AM) hey guys, is B+W XS-PRO Nano 010 UV MRC 49mm selling at rm120 worth it? cant find any price to compare of course worth it if its genuine but try before you buy, the xs-pro has a slim mount and your lens cap may not fit too well, easily popping out thats why i prefer the f-pro series This post has been edited by idoblu: Feb 15 2012, 09:36 AM

QUOTE(beelze_gpwk @ Mar 28 2012, 02:12 AM) i have try out NEX 7 the other day... like the camera overall, but the only drawback which i find is it is not so "portrait" friendly... wat i mean is not taking portrait but in portrait orientation... when the camera in landscape the flip screen is very useful to get all sort of angles, high or low. but in portrait... i find it hard to use to get all those angle. anyone got any idea to overcome this (other than lying on the floor to get low angle shot)? Ppl buy nex7 they will use the viewfinder lo

Which new lens for you? 35mm f1.8 16-50mm f3.5-5.6 10-18mm f4 I think many will replace their current 18-55mm with the 16-50mm

Advanced Control Dial Mode control dial and Quick Navi assure quick and intuitive operation comparable to a DSLR's Control dial, Fn (function) button and touch screen (including touch shutter function) combine to greatly facilitate operation and speed getting the shot.
