i hope nex-7 change their perspective a bit,its a major hit everywhere

Hard to say also.... Just because enthusiast rave about it doesnt necessarily mean Sony will see it the same. I'm pretty sure they sell alot more 3 & 5's then the 7. I havent really seen anyone using the 7 in public yet.

i wish they could release more lenses. only ONE new lenses announced this year and its a refreshed 18-200mm.

please Sony, give me fast wide angle zoom or sharp pancake lenses

I got my Sigma 30mm f2.8 EX DN

I always like lens with lens hood, but it doesn't comes with one.

It has been launched in Malaysia for a long time now. However the Sony sites aren't often the most reliable source of information...

where did you get it...and how much?

I bought it online, very expensive, regreted... I heard YL Camera at Pudu Plaza selling at RM6XX. Call them first.

That lens really doesn't comes with hood ?
Weird though, my 19mm comes with it.
But last time trying 30mm I didn't check the box inside

omg the Sigma 30mm f2.8 EX DN is so tempting. Read a lot of reviews on this baby and all of them are praising this lens. but now really deciding between the VCL-ECF1 and the Sigma 30mm f2.8 EX DN. :/

From what i heard, these sigma lenses doesnt requires hood as its coated to prevent flaring.

How's the startup time with the sigma? Seem like take noticeably longer time to ready shoot
