QUOTE(0168257061 @ May 23 2012, 11:35 AM) That lens really doesn't comes with hood ? hmm...now I am wondering whether I can use the 19mm lens hood on the 30mm lens. Anyway, I can't be buying 19mm lens just because I want the hood... hahaha.. Weird though, my 19mm comes with it. But last time trying 30mm I didn't check the box inside that 6xx is grey set aint it ? Boeing sell local set..is RM699 when i bought |

I sold my 18-55 lens to buy this sigma 30mm. I must say the lens is very sharp vs my 16mm 2.8. I still keep the 16mm, sometime in some situation, u really need a wide lens.

QUOTE(0168257061 @ May 23 2012, 06:48 PM) Go prime that's the way I suggest get the twin lens for RM25xx. Give that 18-55 to your dad n keep the 16mm. At least u got a wide lens when u need one. To buy the 16mm lens seperately is not cheapBtw I'm interested to upgrade 5N leh in the same time my dad want to buy camera, suggested him to take the 18-55 from 5N and i use the new camera, he use my Nex-3. any idea of 5n+18-55 street price ? QUOTE(zstan @ May 23 2012, 09:22 PM) There are a lot of review of this lens and sample pic from the net. Google Search. I recently take some photo here:http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/2310881/+520 Post #528 Look at the sharpness espeacially on the wording/fonts. |

I bought this adapter to use with my Nikon G lens. Most adapter found on the market can only use the old generation Nikon D lens.

QUOTE(jtleon @ Jun 8 2012, 08:50 PM) anyone using Sigma 30mm f/2.8 (SIG-30F28-SOE-SSK) mind to share your experience? Very good lens, sharp. Focus fast too. Startup time abit slow, some rattling sound when the camera is turn off, other than that,at the price of RM650+/-, so a good buythinking of getting this one for general purpose photography including portrait. (this is is cheaper than SEL50F18 of course for portrait SEL50F18 is definitely superior, but I'm not shooting portrait majority of the time) ![]() ![]() This post has been edited by bUGG: Jun 8 2012, 10:22 PM |

this two images was shot using Sigma 30mm F2.8 on Sony NEX 5N... natural lighting, no adjustment was done to the photo...
Highly recommended lens. ![]() ![]() |
