A friend of mine attended the launch, and mentioned pricing estimated about RM10k-12k in Msia.

That should be the right estimation for RRP. Since seather mentioned his regular shop putting approx RM7.5K++. Should the street price approximately RM8.5K ~ RM9K upon launching? Damn... far from my reach

In case it was not mentioned here, the latest version 2.3.0 update is 64 bit. No more running 32bit in 64bit OS. Finally ! Much faster and smoother.

btw seriously man, D800 noise control is superb already. what's there to complain la? People buy 36MP often shooting stills / portraits.

D700 is still a good choice as not everyone needs 36MP + video.
