hi guys,

here's my problem.

i'm trying to setup access to my cctv from the internet.

what i've done are portforwarding the cctv port, set dmz to the cctv lan ip, get a free hostname on dyndns.org and setup the ddns account in the unifi router.

so now, i'm expecting to see my cctv login page when i access my dyndns.org hostname, right?

but now i'm seeing my router page instead. i'm puzzled why i am seeing my router page.

anyone has any idea or suggestions how to troubleshoot this? there's no problem accessing my cctv login page with the lan ip.

im still using DIR-615 router, updated to 7.09 firmware version (don't think it's firmware version because it hasn't been working since the previous firmware)

hmm anyone realized that BIZ package being capped higher?? i don't seem to hit the 610kbps limit anymore.... max downloading+uploading still having the lowest ping...

ur unifi now is on fiber right?

the existing tel line can be used, but u have to disconnect the main cable from outside/pole at the "junction box" on ur ceiling/roof.

after that, just connect tel cable from unifi modem to 1 of the tel wall socket which ever nearest.
use splitter if u want to use telephone near the modem.

all other tel wall socket now can be use for ur telephone.

Or you can buy more DECT phones and register them to the same base.

did you put port # after url, like this   whatever.dyndns.org:1234

where 1234 = your port #

yea... need to put a specific port for ur CCTV device..

Added on February 27, 2012, 5:24 pmi can access remotely to my router, remote access to my PC, and my NAS using dyndns without any issue when all the appliance had been assigned a particular port..

anyone know how to view multichannel? like have a preview on 9 channels in one time? Can't seem to find that on menu.

Yes, im on Unifi currently, i tried that it worked but unfortunately whenever anyone calls in or when calls are made, within 30 seconds while im talking to any party..ill hear an engage / phone disconnect tone in my conversation and the other party can hear too and after 1 minute ..both parties ended up hearing a loud siren noise in the conversation astough the phone wasnt hang up properly...wonder whats wrong...??

You got high ping there. You connect your computer using wired or wireless to do this speedtest?

This is my result, I don't have high upload speed 
Try at different time? Sometime some server cant work well due to heavy load.

when u tried, izzit all telephone connected?
try again by using 1 telephone only, if no problem add another phone and so on.
maybe 1 of the telephone (assumed only) messing the line.

iirc, u using alarm system to tel line as well rite? try disconnect 1st.

Initially all telephones were conencted and i tried using only 1 phone but problem still persists, i logged a call to Unifi last night and just 10 mins ago, their technician came and discovered the old phone line apparently was paired again altough it was disconnected. They suspect some other TM technician would have reconnect it back "Itchy Hands". They then dc it again and pair it correctly to my alarm system  as well and it finally work with no issues. Before they left, they even stick a note near my wire joints pole stating "Jangan Usik / kacau kabel"

Guys my friend just told me that TM has already enforced the download limit. Is he speaking the truth or it's still bs at the moment?

Hello im new member to unifi family got it done by rattan in just 5 days he really a trustworthy honest bro and installation done by unifi tech was very neat only one error cant watch iptv yet.
