QUOTE(the100308 @ Feb 28 2012, 12:10 PM) Thanks... finally.... Yea, figure that too... I think it might be because I am living in some old apartment and I asked the technician, its copper wired... so that's why I got high ping.. But its optical fiber cable for transmission (if not mistaken) Best I can get is 25ms, for most test... never lower. Oh ya, using LAN cable to do the test. Are you in a condo and using the VDSL BTU? If yes, then ok. If you're on optical, then ping is high. Speeds are good. Added on February 28, 2012, 1:56 pmQUOTE(a4-paper @ Feb 28 2012, 01:13 PM) using mediafire max i got is 170kBs. vip 5.im thinking about buying 841nd router.is it ok? WR841ND cheap and good router but it wouldn't speed up your VIP5. What router did TM give you? Do you torrent? This post has been edited by soonwai: Feb 28 2012, 01:56 PM

I've been looking through KlSeet and unifi.athena.my's router recommendations. So far I've narrowed them to these 2 models. http://klseet.com/index.php?option=com_con...=115&Itemid=106http://klseet.com/index.php?option=com_con...d=106&Itemid=98Usage: Typically, I run alot of P2P and HTTP downloads, I plan to stream files over to my TV and also some MMORPG. Which would you recommend or did I miss out any other routers?

Seem that a lot ppl having higher upload speed than download speed. I'm still using my stock router DIR615, no budget to change it first as it still serve me well.

Wonder if any of you guys facing this issue with your unifi voice line caller id feature..?
Whenever, i receive calls on my unifi voice line, the number displayed should be by default: 60 [Area Code] 123456789 but what im getting on the display is: 123456789 60. The area code appears to be behind. Any idea why this happen?
I have 3 cordless phones at home and all 3 displays this format..

Any idea how's Unifi VIP5 in term of speed in palm spring damansara ? Im using p1 and it's such a pain due to staying in high floor.. it's somewhat comparable to the situation when Eminem rap is faster than your internet speed =,=

That also if you are really a heavy downloader, if for normal surfing you wont feel much difference.
