In tnc, here :

Hong Leong Fortune Credit Card Terms & Conditions
https://www.hlb.com.my/main/assets/files/ho...it-card-tnc.pdf

3(a)
...The Real Cash earned shall be credited to and reflected monthly in the Cardholder’s Statement provided that the Cardholder has earned a minimum Real Cash of RM20...

to earn RM20 is to use 2k.

This card is good for ppl spend average 9k~9.5k per month to get max cash back (on other spending categories)

So it is better to use on top of other card which gives you better cash back for groceries, petrol etc.

I thought less than RM 20 would be accumulated until RM 20 then only transfer to Real Cash earning

It doesn't work that way.

Another note, when you first get the card you may have less than a full month to use.

I have this card and its pretty good for categories of spending that normally don't get cashback (like buying things from normal retail shops). Plus, sometimes HLB has pretty good promotions, so its useful for those.

Note that Government transactions and JOMPay won't earn cashback.

just to confirm, the min RM2000 spend to qualify the 1% cb must be fall in the same statement month, not calendar month right?

This is what the t&c state:
3. Terms and Conditions of the Programme
(a) The earning of Real Cash is determined at the end of each billing cycle/Statement date and is equivalent to one per centum (1%) of total qualified retail spending (rounded to the nearest Malaysian Ringgit). The Real Cash earned shall be credited to and reflected monthly in the Cardholder’s Statement provided that the Cardholder has earned a minimum Real Cash of RM20 and subject to a maximum Real Cash of RM50 in each billing cycle/Statement date

1% Real Cash Earnings on your purchases*
This will be credit which can redeem to CASA?

Up to RM1,800 extra Real Cash Earnings on your card's anniversary
Extra earnings are based on your total annual retail spending, up to RM1,800 in real cash

How about this? when bank will give this? also can credit to CASA?

Yes.

At the end of statement year. Yes.

Oh, the cashback gets interest, too.

Managed to hit the first threshold (RM38,000) only for first year, and got my yearly cashback smile.gif.

This is a great card for miscellaneous spending.

I keep track myself and just use the sum of my monthly statements. I spent 45k this year, so I was very confident it would be above RM38k. Shouldn't be difficult to track if you just use monthly statement totals.
