the yearly real cash earning credit to credit card or we need to redeem it same as monthly rebate?

when the yearly real cash earning granted?
is it exactly 12 months? or need to wait longer?

how to know how much is spent? keep track ourself? might calculate wrongly if do it ourself.
*
At first i thought it calculate until Dec of each year because there is a summary in Dec statement, however, i continue doing my own calculation and the real cash bonus RM1800 is credit on the anniversary month when you got your first spending on the card.
It's better you keep track yourself because you can judge whether you can achieve from RM68k to RM108k if the remaining month is enough for you to do so or not.
If can't you can spend on others card such as Essential to get more percentage of CB.

Sorry but I beg to differ that 1.96% cash back card is the "best credit card in the world" although you really mean it. With Aeon/ Aeon Big CC combo with PBVS / UOB YOLO, one can get 4.4% cash back excluding petrol. Literally, Aeon/Aeon Big CC or with 6% CB for online transactions would be the "best" combo in Malaysia in my opinion. If it is petrol, then this combo would give a 4% CB.

Hi, mind explaining the combo 4.4%, thanks

Unless your claim-back became additional income (i.e. income tax apply) on paper?
But if so, I doubt you want to pay company bills with personal credit card.

Are the cashback considered additional income ? Is it legal to do so for the cb and points ?

Yepp - cashback isn't taxable income. It's almost like a "discount" / reward from your expenditure.

The issue about using personal card to swipe company expenses is that your company may get queried (from both an audit and tax perspective) on why there are lots of "related party transactions" and whether such expenses are personal or corporate in nature.

Although I'm cashback crazy, I would err on the side of caution and keep them separate.

Thinking whether I should get this card, am getting fed up with the measly 0.6% from my HLB Essential card. Most of the months , I don't hit the RM5000 to get the 1% CB. But with the Fortune card, I would benefit more.

Excellent advice - this is also what I've done. Not much use for my Fortune anymore.

I would , but sometimes my expenses go higher than RM2500 a month. Thinking which other card other than SCB cashback gold and essential would be beneficial for me. I don't feel that it's worth it getting only 0.6% from Essential.

Not worth to keep, other cash back cards are better, eg PBB VS, MBB VS, SCB just one, MBB 2cards,etc

what the difference with u paying with cash or personal credit card?
as long as u pay the exact amount of the bill then wont be any problem
i been paying company bill with my credit card few year ago
(reason : tnb not accept cheque for tm bill....so i need travel to different merchant everytime)

so i pay online with my credit card n claim from company...

Enjoy automatic annual fee waiver with just a minimum of 12 retail transactions or RM8,000 retail spend a year.
*
Is it applicable for principal & supplementary spending combined or separate for each card? Meaning, swipe 12x or spend 8k a year for both principal and supplementary cards to waive both cards' annual fee or need to do it separately to get waiver for both cards meaning swipe 12x or spend 8k for each card (24x or 16k in total) to waive the annual fees for both cards? How about the Essential card? Is it the same for that card?

It's combined.

Fortune card is only good if you spend more than 2000 a month, cause it comes with bonus payout at the end of the annual renewal, in addition to the monthly cashback.

If you are not going to meet the minimum 2000 spending per month, go for Essential.

my card was approved 2 weeks ago but i've yet to receive it

called and ask they say latest by today

and they say today if still dont receive pls call them again and they will mark the card as stolen and give me a new card (which will take another 3-5 days)

self collect at branch of my choice sweat.gif

then i asked why take so long to deliver since its already approved more than 2 weeks ago

the CS reason was they are using normal pos so it also depends on the pos man of handling the delivery

whutt? lol

so now i gotta wait till 6pm if still dont have the card i have to call HLB tonight to complain again sweat.gif
