the yearly real cash earning credit to credit card or we need to redeem it same as monthly rebate?

is it exactly 12 months? or need to wait longer?

how to know how much is spent? keep track ourself? might calculate wrongly if do it ourself.

I keep track myself and just use the sum of my monthly  statements. I spent 45k this year, so I was very confident it would be above RM38k. Shouldn't be difficult to track if you just use monthly statement totals.

This is my second year in using the HLB Fortune card.  I have earned RM50 monthly plus RM1,800 on my card anniversary month last year.
The generous bank has been dishing out 12 month 0% balance transfer and flexible payment plan this year which I have applied and was approved some RM 20,000, to be repaid over 12 months without any interest. Now, I just realise it says in the terms and conditions that the cumulative annual qualifying spend would exclude balance transfer and FPP amount. 
My questions is whether the repaid amount during the year will still be counted for the purpose of the annual real rewards?

Yepp that makes sense but I didn't know they would be so generous to pay out before the year is up.

This year I only hit in final month (March) and I got paid at start of April. It was only last year when I was paid a couple of months early but I also remember there was some weird stuff going on there with a few of us getting late normal cashback in early 2019.

With the reduction in BP quota and reduced family holidays ahead.... I definitely can't hit top tier next year.
