where to get these in Selangor/Kuala Lumper Area?
1)The Deep-Frozen or Freeze-Dried CYCLOP-EEZEĀ®
2)Genchem Astaxanthin

if they are available within my area and are cheap, would mind to buy and try the small packet

Yea bro, i more focus on shrimp. I would like to set up a moss tank but kinda hard for me to get a nice driftwood at my place, that the reason make me shift to plant tank together with shrimp. Maybe i should not rush and slowly get a nice driftwood so that i can set up a moss tank with CRS. And i already decided to use ADA new amazonia for CRS instead of using recycle gex soil top up with ADA new soil

NO, not 24hrs. unless you wanna breed algae. 8hrs is more then enough, give the shrimps some break, who's
wanna be under the torch light all day long.

Beside driftwood, you can also tight moss to lava rock ,ryu stone, dragon stone, stainless steel/plastics mesh, etc, but make sure the rock/stone won't release substance that alter the PH. (exception is lava rock which lower PH abit ,unless you pour in the whole 'guni' sack of it.)

I also got think to use rock before but i dont like the debris all stuck inside the plant like my current tank. I prefer to use driwftwood as i can tie the moss on the branches so that debris is hardly stuck inside the moss and also easier to manage biggrin.gif

No, u can cycle a tank with ADA soil < a mths with sufficient bio-media and good filters just that the ammonia leeching of the ADA soil can continue > a mths, with capable bio-filters those ammonia will be neutralize in time, just that if u itchy hand and stir/'kacau' the soil a sudden ammonia spike may appear and may kill/wipe ur nearby CRS when the aquasoil soil is still new. This is due to the fragility of CRS.

You can keep HC or others nice plant, but what is your priority , plant or CRS? for me i choose shrimps that y i remove my C02 system, throw away my HC , carpeted Glosso & other plants.  Keep mainly moss and marimo ball now. I using seachem iron, potassium, excel & borneowild lush, they are safe for shrimps, just don't overdose and to be safe use half recommended amount, now i seldom use those, only dose a very little once every 2 weeks.

if your wish is have nice planted tank(with HC, glosso etc) and keep CRS, i recommend that you build up the aquascaping/planting part first, when all things settle down(tank parameter stable ,plant healthy and growing) then only you start learn/keep more hardy shrimps like Red Cherry/Fire red first then only CRS. (u will save alot on lesson fee, as the CRS cost more then x5 the price of an red cherry).

you can cycle a tank even faster than 1 month with ADA soil.. i try before.. get dead prawns and throw inside the tank.. after 2 weeks, take the prawns out and test the water. the tank and soil should be cycle already. if not, fill the tank with only half the water and use a strong pump to move the water.

The drawback is that some of the free floating food will lounge/stuck somewhere(substrate etc) every time you feed, in the long run
will foul the water cos those worm/brine shrimps may not be retrievable if the rcs/crs can't finish consume it.
That why we only feed the shrimps flake food that are stable in & won't cloud the water, remove it within 1-2 hrs even it not fully consumed.
Free floating shrimps/shrimplets food like borneowild bebi & mosura bio-plus is itself biodegradable and will help break down
organics waste thus will not foul the water and safe to left in there.

With ADA soil in fishless cycle, there is no need to use fish food etc to kickstart the tank cycle, ADA amazonia is for famous for leeching substantial ammonia from the start which enough to last through the cycle. I cycled two tank with ADA new amazonia as substrate, after few hrs submerged with water it already leech out ammonia level more then 5.0ppm.

safe for shrimps, i have those but now disappear, just normal scraping the glass and water change , a week later didn't see them anymore.
Kind of miss them.
If your shrimps are big enough & no shrimplets, you can put in some small tetra or guppy, those are food to them.
