In the car manual, what is the Oil Change Interval? Every 5000-km or 10,000-km?

Too thick for CFE engine, user manual states 10W-30. I use Syntium 800 5W-30.

Did you change your oil at official Proton service center? If you did, write a complaint letter to Proton because what they did is technical heresy and the mechanic doing that should be crucified. This is oil change is as basic as learning A-B-C in kindergarten.

0.33? that is high... my car average after 8k is 0.2/km

worst cost per km = 0.24/km
best cost per km = 0.18/km

this is from a software (fuelio android) that i use to keep stats about my fuel consumption

A question on the Prime with 2nd row captain seat. From the photo, it seems you can't walk through them to get to the 3rd row. So does it mean, to get into the 3rd row seat, you have the flip the 2nd row captain seat like what you did with the Bold?

HHAHA yes yes! watched last time biggrin.gif

Yesterday I use MAX highway, got three car estima, fd2, gen2 and me of course... I follow them from the back and I wonder why they drive slow in right lane. I am a tall person, I cant really see the meter unless I bend down my head a little bit. Was so shocked that actually all of us were driving at 160-170km/h ohmy.gif EB fully loaded last nite, 4 adult 2 kid and bags crusing at 160km/h rpm only at 3500rpm thumbup.gif It's so stable
Then after that, I move to middle lane and slow down to 120 only as I carry my family, utamakan keselamatan biggrin.gif If my 4g18p waja 160km/h already at 4200rpm sweat.gif

let repharse that, what i did was went for my 1st 1k service @ mutiara damansara proton (i believe this is the official service center). when the SA check my car with a some kind of check list form, they mark "semi-sync" for me. I asked the SA i want synthetic only. then the SA said your bold is design for this type of oil "semi-sync". tats puzzle me. i still press on for synthetic oil then only the SA mark it for synthetic. Now i did not know what/which vicoscity at that time cause the checklist shows - mineral / semi -sync / synthetic.

when i saw the bill wat was being charged, then only i saw it was a syntium 1000 (15w-50). then i asked them why do you not carry syntium 3000? that's where they can't answer me. so im stuck with the oil right now and thinkin going out to get a syntium 3000 and do it out side for the oil change.
