This is how Exora Bold fared in 0-100 & quarter mile :

0-10 km/h: 0.99 sec
0-20 km/h: 1.58 sec
0-30 km/h: 2.23 sec
0-40 km/h: 3.00 sec
0-50 km/h: 3.88 sec
0-60 km/h: 4.90 sec
0-70 km/h: 6.04 sec
0-80 km/h: 7.38 sec
0-90 km/h: 8.89 sec
0-100 km/h: 10.58 sec
0-110 km/h: 12.51 sec
0-120 km/h: 14.72 sec
0-130 km/h: 17.28 sec

60': 3.11 sec @ 39.0 km/h
330': 7.68 sec @ 80.8 km/h
1/8 mi: 11.50 sec @ 104.0 km/h
1000': 14.79 sec @ 119.1 km/h
1/4 mi: 17.57 sec @ 130.7 km/h

I put in these figures into an Excel to calculate the horsepower. For aerodynamic drag, I assume Exora Bold has coefficient drag of 0.33 & frontal area of 27 square feet. Vehicle weight + my weight = 1555kg.

Peak HP is 111.76. Assuming 18% power loss at transmission, engine hp would be about 136.29hp, within Proton's spec of 138hp, if u take 2-3% calculation error margin.

PS : Sorry no torque values as I cannot log RPM, and no dyno test as I'm on tight budget this month sad.gif

These figures are taken from my ELM327 OBD reader during morning trip to work :

Further improvement to my previous figures. This time directly from datalog, plug into my Excel.

Kindly ignore figures below 4000RPM, as I couldn't find a long straight road this morning, not much time & speed to properly build-up boost. It's a drive-to-work route after all.

Will do another run to capture acceleration below 4000RPM. In the meantime, 123whp@5085RPM is not bad right?

how you guys know the coolant temp.? got meter in the panel showing that?
so, you guys drive EB CFE <90km/h when you 1st get the car? For how long? 1 week?
hhmmm...i'm kinda not so comfortable with 90km/h only..usually my average 120km/h...huhuhuh ;p

We use ELM327 Bluetooth OBD reader. I bought it here

I already drove my EB to 170kmh in less a week smile.gif

I'm in a school of thought of running-in new engine as normal drive, the theory is that new piston rings may never be seated tightly against cylinder walls if new engines are driven like granny. Just drive as usual.

I bought the OBD reader bcoz:
1. It's cool to be able to see my car's internal data
2. Can check engine problems in future eg straight away can know if any sensor is dead
3. Can do my own dyno from speed & RPM data

Latest home-made dyno graph :

In short, wide torque curve, almost as Proton claimed. At 2240RPM, there's already 80% max torque available. 123whp @5085 RPM also looks good for a 1.6 engine.

the syntium 800 & 1000 is at 15w-50, isnt tht a little heavy for a 1.6 engine?

Too thick for CFE engine, user manual states 10W-30. I use Syntium 800 5W-30.

My average FC is 11.6L/100km = 0.116L/km = RM0.23/km. Mix highway&kampung driving. Hard to keep my right foot alight smile.gif
