I suppose so. There's competition from HP DV6 and Sager.
Sager is better for upgrade GPU and accessibility to clean the internals.

Dear all, i bought my g53sx few days ago. THen today i try to use the webcam.... but unable to on it >.<

The lifeframe software keep come out with " the camera is used by another program "

I try reinstall and google around but can't settle it. Any kind souls encounter such issue before? >.<

i juz press fn+v and it straight away activate the web cam d

Ya fn+v is the lifeframe.... when i press it, it showed the camera is used by other program...

I tried skype and facebook video call, they also can't detect the webcam...


A question to ask, did you all see your webcam in device manager list? For my laptop i can't see it there....

i ahve it under imaging device--> asus web cam

i dont have it..... zzzz...

None? The DV6's GPU is only an equivalent of the GT555M.

The rebadge may have some performance boost. Haven't seen the review yet so far.

Perhaps due to a clock increase but for now, it's all still theoretical.

but for SC2.. ultra + 1080p will probably lag abit.. unless u lower ur resolution

most users here add until 8gb

u can also ask the shop to do it for u, if they provide such kind of services

i reinstall the webcam driver as provided in the asus website.... after downloaded it showed the driver is lifeframe.... after reinstall still the same.
Driver CD came inside the box? The box come with the laptop dont have any cd.... all software pre-installed in the laptop already..

I was wondering is it anything disconnected when the computer shop staff help me to upgrade my laptop to 8gb Ram...


Is there any other solution which i can try out ? or the only solution is send to service center.... Zzzzz
