Basically BBK7 variant has a GTX560M with a crippled 128-bit memory bandwidth using 2GB GDDR5 compared to the regular GTX560M with 192-bit bus with 3GB GDDR5 VRAM.

So it's cheaper but your suffer a performance dip.

For Asus, the GPU is normally soldered in so it's better to just get the 3GB variant outright. Besides, cost of buying the GPU would be absurdly overpriced.

Optimus only appears on GT versions of Nvidia GPUs and not GTX ones.

None? The DV6's GPU is only an equivalent of the GT555M.

Siberia V2 would be the most comfortable and balanced in terms of sound. The mic might be a bit flaky sometimes when it comes to picking up sounds but other than that, no regrets getting this for usage. Pricey but worth it. I have 2.

5HV2 is the one for gaming. Higher treble, weaker bass to enhance footstep detection while not deafening yourself to explosion. Comfort-wise it's alright. Not the best, but you could do much worse. Sound is not isolated because it uses a hard spongy material for the cups.

Carcharias would be more bass heavy. It's light and makes it feel comfortable but I have to say it's a matter of choice between the Siberia and this for comfort. Can't really complain much about this one. Good thing it's cheaper too.

I got rid of them already. Sold off both to my friends.

Alternatively, could get headphones rather than headset. Those will have better sound quality, just that you'll lose the mic.

The product sheet in CES did mention a 15.6" screen version of the new G-series.

At this rate, seems like a G55 since the exhaust is different from the G74.

Then again, that pricing stated would most likely have included VAT to the total.

So, may be a possibility that we'll get it cheaper over here.
