I been to south korea few time. Not many people know samsung also manufacture a damm good car. I tell you the amount of accessories they install make you feel continental car look nowhere.Take example Bluetooth  audio technology, smartphone compatible with in car phone,GPS complete with live traffic volume, live weather forecast, live news, alert notification on disaster.,live route maintenance or close down and many more .My point is they have good customer  feedback and know what people want.I strong believe those feedback here in malaysia came from SME which is eye and ears to samsung mobile corporation  in korea. If SME DON'T ASK FOR IT  so samsung wont know.

yeah..they are good ..very good ....even food also they manufacture there .I even bought some chocolates made by them and it isn't that bad.. But SME,they are really slow, even I go and repair my phone also they don't give a shit about you..telling me that its good..nothing wrong... vmad.gif vmad.gif

MULTI MEDIA GNex 7 GNote 10 - GNote has the SD Card option with the most satisfying Large Screen Size and Can Play Almost All Video Formats (through third party apps)

PICTURE GNex 6 GNote 9 - GNex has almost no delay speed for Camera Capture but on quality wise, it losses in terms of Quality for both Picture and Video Capture

COMPATIBILITY GNex 5 GNote 9 - ICS is still considered as a new OS and most of my current apps are not working at all with it

BATTERY GNex 6 GNote 7 - This might be a bias review as I own the GNex for less than a day, but its battery had reached 80% of usage from 9am-8pm with normal usage of Sych, E-Mail and Web Surfing. While my GNote can hold its battery for almost a day of usage.

PORTABILITY GNex 10 GNote 6 - It is a pain in the ass to carry the GNote in a tight jeans and even for normal pants, I have to take it out from my pocket before sitting down

USABILITY GNex 10 GNote 7 - I do not encounter any lag at all while testing the interface and application in GNex, compared with a slight lag at GNote. I can assure u that the experience is as good as iOS and I believe this is the strength of this new Android OS.

FEATURES GNex 10 GNote 8 - GNex have almost all the new technology that are available today including NFC and IMHO, it encourages us to adopt the Cloud Technology especially for the Sync Function. Note: It has led function for Message Reminder too

GENERAL GNex 8 GNote 10 - Everything seems readily available in the GNote such like Calendar and To-do widget without having to download from Android Market

I will not comment in terms of the Look as Both are comparable for me. Lastly, Please dont flame and I might be wrong on certain points as this is based on my less than aday experience for GNex and about 2 weeks exp with the GNote.

Hence lies the HUGE freaking problem. Samsung doesn't see it fit to grace us with the chance of getting these official accessories, and we have to rely on reseller to get them? If I have to rely on resellers, I might as well make the purchase online myself, coz these resellers too have to go through the same channel as I am, isn't it?

Say I agree with you saying it's Malaysia's problem. Why is that? I'll let you answer it rather than giving examples on my own, coz everyone seems ready to pounce like a tiger on every answers I provide here, even though it is basically the reason why it is, even if is not pleasant to hear.

I'm not gonna bother elaborating on that sample case you're harping about. You asked about which manufacturer produce their own case, I provided some examples. If you wanna go beyond that and fetch whatever point you wanna give, be my guest. Still doesn't solve the point at hand: "In Soviet Russia, accessories come with phone. In Malaysia, accessories you find yourself after you got phone".

P/S: Unless your computer comes with an app to detect condemnation, that previous reply comes as a more "friendly punch a guy in the shoulder" kinda tone than condemnation. The setting of that app of yours must be screwed up. Eh, your call. I didn't meant that way, but if you take it as such, "what can I do"?*in New Yorker Italian dialect with a shrug*

"ni lagi satu" is pretty condemning, I mean, what do you mean by that? Plus, what's up with all the period, full stop, as if I am not allowed to refute on that? That's not how you discuss something.

you can discuss something without being so defensive about it. Why are you making this like a war or something?

You chose to continue this so I'm just obliging you.

"Ni lagi satu" without context, the way a person would speak of it, and the intonation can mean one thing or another. I clarified that it as what I've told before, your take it as something else. Hence Kobe Brant shrugging it off picture I pasted.

"Period, full stop" is for MY statement, not stopping you from opining yours. In fact, if you notice, I'm THRILLED if I can get someone to tell me how they feel/think about something, ESPECIALLY if they don't agree with me. Don't read too much into something someone posted in a forum, it'll save from making egregious mistake on misinterpreting one's intention later.

Again, nothing defensive about this, just clarifying my stance. You take it as me defensive, I take mine as me being wanting to be clear about where I stand on things. But you seem to have your own way of interpreting things even after a person clarifies it, so I can't do anything other than say "Meh?" or shrug it off.

Great impressions. I'll like my Note more if it hadn't random reboot on me from time to time. Only have taken measures to stop that recently, now it has stopped rebooting for more than 24 hours already. Monitoring it further. Once the Note has come stable, then I can mark it better than the GNex, coz I LOVE that gorgeous 5.3inch screen.

Added on December 7, 2011, 9:30 pmJust received my Galaxy Note official Samsung leather pouch. Although slightly bigger, it fits the Nexus quite nicely that I'm thinking of reordering another one for the Nexus.

Nah, I am pretty sure I interprets things just fine. Its just your choice of words, which seems to be pretty poor if being clear on your stand is all you want. There are easily better ways to put things in a nicer way, I know you're not obliged to do so, but don't get surprised when people misunderstood you that way.

btw, I'm actually happy to see some form of discussion going on in this thread, compared to previously before this "accessory discussion" that has been pretty boring. smile.gif

Not good if you like to mod your Android, as these apps take up the /system partition size. Some considered them bloatware.

Seems like GNote scores much higher than GNex. smile.gif

But for me, GNote's size alone already put me off.

I suspect it's the case of his charging adapter not grounded. The charging pin/adapter that comes with the Nexus is the exact copy of the one that comes with the Nexus, with 3 pin plug. The top pin that is supposed to be the grounding pin, is a dummy pin in the case of this charger, it has no electrical circuitry to act as an earth-grounding point. On electrical sockets that are old or uses a low quality extension cord without grounding circuitry, electrical current leakage that is supposed to travel back through the top grounding pin ( a dummy pin in this case of the Samsung charger), now travels through the shortest point of contact, the metal contacts of the microUSB connector and to the screen. Ever had a jolt of electricity go through you when you accidentally touched a metal surface (like your PC casing or MacBook chassis? It's the same thing). Which is why I always reserve a specific electrical socket point that I know will not have current leakage or is properly grounded.

If you say so. Like how I couldn't stop folks here from cheekily calling Apple as "fruit", I can't make you think otherwise. No skin of my back. Not looking for any internet brownie points here, nor am I trying to win a popularity contest. Saying it as how I see it.

The GNote screen is a definite plus, .....if you're treating it as a tablet replacement. It's a minus ....if you're treating it as a phone.

Am so happy I can fit a device with a resolution so much better than the iPad i have, into a front pocket of my shirt or back pocket of my jeans. I can't do that with an iPad, plus it's a 1064x768 versus 1280x800.

Surprisingly that GNote get good receptions, even from Asian's size. biggrin.gif

I wear Dockers pants (known for their loose cutting), which I think with GNote in the front pocket will definitely hinder me from squating down.

And God forbids, 1 hand swyping just won't work for me on GNote too, thumb not long enough. *let's pretend I wasn't driving now tongue.gif*

Maybe because I am using my Tab extensively, so GNote just doesn't seem that attractive to me anymore.

I now try to compile user comment regarding availability of galaxy nexus in malaysia land and accessories to make one nice e-mail directed to SME.From my personnel view and my colleague there seems a lot of interest on this galaxy nexus and the accessories (docking ,HDMI to micro USB connecter, case, ext....). My point.
1-SME should aware that samsung mobile electronic here in malaysia have a lot off loyal followers and user.SME just cannot ignore this cause this is business opportunities.
2- SME should publicly notified consumer in malaysia the availabilities of Galaxy nexus.I mean true date.
3-SME should aggressively market their line of smartphone here rather than depend on telco cause we here got peanuts regarding telco discount.
4-Written Explaination from SME why here we get less items out off the box where else in others place there got extra batt(higher capacity) with NFC chip and OEM case.
5-Where is the priority in this country compare to other region.

Then i realize that i have use my galaxy tab 7 as my daily driver and make me difficult to compile all thing and tidy up.I hope the honor of this thread, Phantomash can lead the way because of my limitation above.Phantomash, i hope you could lead this as you are respected in this nexus thread and your past effort on creating this nice usefull front page.

My point is our malaysian voice and dry patience of waiting this galaxy nexus not long enough, rather than jump to AP set or buy cross down south.
I believe when customer ran and buy AP or other source it will downside SME business cause their lost their volume power in malaysia.Put in this way,If majority buy from cross south ,what SME Influence in their say to samsung mobile in south korea business eye.The samsung mobile will put SME their last priority in their model business.

So here my idea and hope someone could continue and progress it.

Would the forum allow checkbox type of voting, meaning with listing of accessories, each person can cast a check for each item once. This way, we can have a count of popularity of which type of accessories has highest demand from members here. hmm.gif
