Ok er, I think should mention it
1. Doesn't support USB mass storage, instead it supports MTP and PTP which will work without any issue in Windows. However, Mac users will have to use this application to transfer files: http://www.android.com/filetransfer/

2. The GPU isn't half bad. I know you already posted it, but add in this graph
http://images.anandtech.com/graphs/graph5133/42471.png
http://images.anandtech.com/graphs/graph5133/42472.png

And remind users that it is only second to the S2 i9100 (non G) which is no longer sold in Malaysia. Moreover, the G level performance *should* be somewhere around the Bionic and LG Optimus 3D's range. So, in Malaysia if you disregard the Note (its a bit too large for a phone anyway), Galaxy Nexus does have the best GPU.

3. Screen is Pentile. However, looks crisp and sharp because of the high resolution. <- Maybe better don't mention its pentile?

4. Flash Player is currently not supported. However, Apple and Google have confirmed they are working on it.

I'm guessing about that "fruit" thing, it's more of a slur against the iPhone users than anything else.

Pity we can't get along. I use both, but you don't see me calling my Android a "pastry".

You see little green robot on Android and you see a bitten apple (fruit) on iPhone. Pastry is only for Android firmware names.
*
My point is, normal folks don't call an iPhone a fruit. Neither do I call an Android phone a "clunker", "pastry" or any replacement term. Why else would anyone replace a term only to have a different agenda in mind?

yes., what's so wrong being called fruity. It's not degraded calling or that sort. Beside, apple is a fruit. You can always call Android user green robot or something. :-)
Not like some fruity call Android user 'geek' or freak :-(
*
sounds more like you're doing it out of retaliation and name-calling than the "there's nothing wrong" motive.

Google "fruity" and see what definition you get. I don't wanna assume coz you know what they say about assumption?

dont think too much, better talk about galaxy nexus here...
any update anyone?

Disagreeing with someone is not equal to "arguing". Forum encourages different schools of thoughts, not agreement all the time.

I'm just curious behind the reason and motivation of calling the iPhone a "fruit". Someone did mention that Blackberry is a fruit as well, which are you referring to when you call something a "fruit"? Being forthcoming here, not "beating around the bush".

Look., i've no intention of bad calling about iPhone. It just a friendly banter. I even called my little sister as a 'fruity' user as she use iP3S though she called me 'ugly green tin can'. I dont mind as i know it just bantering among us. Sort of friendly rivalry. There's no need to feel hurt or humiliate.

Wasn't directing that "fruit" enquiry to you but you did come into the conversation, so it 's collateral damage to you. didn't meant you any ill either. One user here uses that term in a derogatory manner, you'll see what I mean when you looked at his post history. If you meant well, then more power to you. This other person, uses it in constant prolonged retaliation even when unprovoked.

No butthead intended by calling fruity or fruit. Just a friendly rivalry. That's all :-)
There's no need to prolong this type of discussion.

I don't mind rivalry, but it's one-sided when he kept on harping on it, even when he wasn't provoked. You can say, he's the one prolonging the hate, when there is nothing to hate on. Just something I observed.

From the seller everyone here is complaining "expensive" about.

I'd like to think I have a good judge of character (although I do make mistake on that part sometimes) the "expensive guy" may be more expensive, but he has better rapport than the "cheap Nexus but no warranty" fella. Either way, I stick with my convictions when I've made them. Hence the "expensive guy".

Bro., the situation here can be called calm compared to the fruity thread. Try ask something about droid in that thread and see how many butthead you can get o_O.
I've been there and i know the real situation. Truth is fruity side hates us more than we dislike them or the phone. You can check my previous post in fruity discussion thread and see what i meant.
*
Yes, but why are you bringing the hate here? In droid13579's case, he wasn't even provoked when posting "fruit". Even if he or you have been scarred by the "fruity" thread, why are you spreading the hate here? Are you building an army to feed your hate?

Again, I suggest listening to John Lennon's Imagine song, and listen to the lyrics. You'd be a better and bigger person if you learn to live with each other than spreading the hate.

P/S: again with the "fruity" name-calling. It's that important to label them that way eh? What about someone who are on both side of the fence like me, should I be offended when you label me that?

Did you ever imagine that i call fruity is not based on hate.? I even gave you one example that i called my little sister as a fruity user. Did i hate her? Of course NOT,!!
So it's better you do something else at the moment to chill down and think this over. Did i spread the hating here or was it you yourself.?
*
Let's put it this way.

You don't imply it's offensive when you say "fruity". The rest of the populace who associate the word "fruity" with this Urban Dictionary definition, implies it is offensive. So where do we go from here? Follow the majority of the folks who associate the word "fruity" as what is implied in the Urban Dictionary, or you?

Very easy, stop labeling slur derogatory word, then, in your own words, nobody will feel "butthead" here, or made to look like a "butthead".

Repeat after me, it's iPhone, not a "fruit", it's iPhone user, not "fruity user". Easy peasy, lemon squeezey. smile.gif

Dude., stop shoving what you want or likes into somebody else throat. Read this link below and see that three out of five meaning of fruity is not a bad words or intention. And why the blardy hell you pick the other two meanings. It's your problems NOT mine if you don't like the words
http://www.thefreedictionary.com/_/dict.aspx?word=fruity
*
So which one of the three out of five of those word do you mean when you mention "fruity" user? Please do tell.

QUOTE
fruit·y  (frt)
adj. fruit·i·er, fruit·i·est
1. Of, containing, or relating to fruit.
2. Tasting or smelling richly of or as if of fruit: "My nose filled with the smells of leather, polish, waxthe fat, fruity smell of rich car" (Anthony Hyde).
3. Excessively sentimental or sweet.
4. Slang Crazy; eccentric.
5. Offensive Slang Homosexual.
I have refrained from swearing, name-calling or calling someone by any other names all this while in this conversation. I suggest you extend that same courtesy as well. All I'm seeing here is a response from a deep-seated anger issue, from past experiences.

I do start to feel angry when somebody dont understand what i mean or what i'm saying. Even after i gave you an example that i called my little sister a fruity user. I'm not harping any hates here. You're the one that keep on pushing and trying to shove what you want into my throat. So..stop demand me to do something that i feel nothing wrong in the first place. :-P
p/s - i use no 1) as apple is a fruit and no 2) as smelling richly of it.
*
So if you use those two definitions, does it makes sense in the context of "fruity user".

If (1), then it's an apple user. If (2), then it an user that smell richly of apple. Which part of that makes sense to you?

There is this thing called "social norms". Google it if you don't understand what that means. It is normal/understandable to call someone who uses an iPhone, "an iPhone user". It is abnormal to call someone who uses an iPhone, a "fruity user". It is an accepted urban colloquial term to associate the word "fruity" to the other definitions (gay or crazy) you did not select. To avoid confusion, why don't we refrain from calling them ("them" here includes me too, you know? Coz I use an iPhone smile.gif ) a "fruity" user, coz you may not imply any derogatory terms on them, but they don't know that until they question you like I do, right? Nobody wants to start an unnecessary argument, right?

It's still fruity as hell as apple is indeed a fruit.  smile.gif

The problem is, he doesn't mean it, supposedly... while yours is entirely suspect tongue.gif. I don't mind explaining those who don't, but those who do but purposely does it, needs to be exposed for what they are. Two can play at that word game. icon_rolleyes.gif

Pretty much relaxed. The context of that "stress" reply is more on poking the response it was directed at. Aye? wink.gif

Just finished uploading 5,883 songs into Google Music already, this will be a good alternative than to keep songs inside the Galaxy Nexus, since it's fixed 16GB storage and no option to increase it anymore.

Google Music for songs, Plex for Android for movies.
