Berita baik buat anda pelanggan setia ASTRO melalui pakej ASTRO BEYOND HD.

Perlancaran MUSTIKA HD melalui pakej Mustika Beyond HD, melengkapkan lagi kandungan HD Astro, antaranya Fox Movies Premium HD, HBO HD, Sundance Channel HD, AXN HD, AXN Beyond HD, FX HD, KIX HD, Star World HD, One HD, Celestial Movies HD, Astro Zhi Zun HD, Life Inspired HD, Food Network Asia HD, Astro Supersport HD, Astro Supersport HD 2, EXPN HD, National Geographic HD, History Channel HD dan Discovery HD, juga Astro First HD bagi filem-filem terpilih.

Dulu ingatkan Astro nak buat 3 saluran HD untuk Mustika, tapi alang2 skrg dapat 1 je... laugh.gif

Hello there, all viewHD models like the model comes with 2 HDMI input and split to 4 HDMI output  come with HDCP compliant or just a specific model than can do HDCP stripping...... thanks

Pure HDMI stripper is illegal but HDMI to analog video is legal. Device you would look for is View HD Two Input HDMI to RGB Component YPbPr / VGA 2x1 Switch Converter Support 5.1CH Surround Sound

I notice the TV Guide for AXN HD (channel 721) is incorrect.

guys, i just subscribed to astro byond pvr. i got the new decoder with 500gb hdd inside with dual tuner.

my question is, if let say i want to go somewhere else (like to my parent's house) which dual tuner output is not present, would i be able to watch and record shows using my decoder?

because as i tried to unplugged one of the cables from the backside of my decoder, the signal was gone. is using two cables is a must when using the pvr decoder? thanks.

If using B.yond dish, it's okay. For old dish one, need to boost the signal. hmm.gif

Are you sure about that? Because once I unplugged one of the cables, no signal received. I think for pvr decoder, 2 cable must be connected. otherwise the decoder cannot recieve the signal. correct me if i'm wrong.

this would be one huge drawback for pvr decoder. sigh

Dual tuner box must get the signal from dual LNB. As such 2 cables....
If you record one HD channel and at the same time watching other SD channel, actually you use both tuner and each using different frequency band drive from two LNBs each. smile.gif

Avermedia came out with HD EzRecorder which is a standalone HD recorder. This is my dream device. It is so brand new that it is not available on Amazon yet. I have 3 weeks window to order this from Amazon without paying for shipping charge and I'm afraid I'll miss it. cry.gif

Just looked up the EzRecorder. Sounds interesting. I wonder if any shop in Malaysia will pick it up. On the other hand, it has to be used with a HDMI-to-Component box with built-in HDCP support or it's not going to work. And I don't think those are sold in Malaysia? I saw some in HDMI to Component/VGA converters in Viewnet but am not sure it support HDCP.

Hi, If I can get viewHD with two HDMI input to component (said to have HDCP compliant), then I think HD EZrecorder can make it works to record Byond. Don't you think?

Well, once it's converted to analog, then there is no more copy protection.
