Talking about jobs. If you are only a WP or PR worker, you need to expect discrimination now days. Priority is moving towards Singaporeans. For those who already set foot here for 5 years. Convert lah. Don't waste time and felt insecure about jobs.

*
Why insecure? How many capable Singaporean in their aging population can they supply for each industry?

With the wide range of private school here, Singaporean rush for popular course which cause unbalance supply of man power. You will never get enough capable SG in certain industry.

Look at bio Science, how many of them cant find a related jobs and are taking Finance(or other) courses now?

If you are good in your industry, dont have to worry about all these.

Most new condo launches exceed S$1MM already. Most are already significantly above $900 or 1000 psf.

Make a police report on the missing IC just in case some one use it illegally. make a copy of police report and keep it with you.

I never show my ic when crossing custom. Only those long term pass or permit holder need to show their ID at SG custom.

Double check the re-entry permit expired date. You should have a print out that you fold nicely and keep it with your passport.

It remind me once I saw a couple accidentally cross SG custom with expired re entry permit during CNY. The officer was kind enough to bring the couple to office and warn them of the risk of voiding Their PR. They make a U turn with the rest of family members and barang barring.

if you are considered equally with other races then I guess it is a difficult choice, but now that we are considered as 2nd class citizen aka step son, things are a lot easier to decide.
