Sometimes if the incoming water supply to the heater is not strong enough, there is loud sound from the water heater. I have experience this before; using the same water heater, installed at 2 different bathrooms. When the water pressure is strong, no loud pump noise.

I am using alpha s series, less than 2 years and start to have problem, the pump will shut off during shower and always need to reset and still won't work.  It's rather expensive compared to some other brands but prrformance wise below expectation. Not sure if it's the incoming water pressure or the unit itself. Not sure if it's still safe to use.

Why don't ask the service guy come and check? Don't gambling with your life.

Went to the shop i bought it from, they said will send the service guy but never turned up. Don't know if they did or not, so i don't have faith in alpha anymore.  Gonna move out in a few months or i dont plan to install a new one.

You need to call direct to the alpha service center. Not the shop.

i hv bad remark for Joven....

I hv finished installed my new Joven i70P on last saturday....but not functioning..both heater and its pump..already contacted Joven...wau very slow respond...i bought 2 joven i70P..one ok..but one not ok. They even said to charge me if due to bad water pressure....i hv installed 2 water heater myself.....one ok..one not ok..

this is the first time my experience with company want to charged (during warranty)....i hv many kind of household products such toshiba,panasonic,alpha, hitachi,bee best,johnson suisse etc...they dont charge for what so ever reason (during warranty) when customer complained they have problem with the product and they came to check.

be carefull if to choose Joven....

Japanese couple found dead in Mont Kiara apartment

KUALA LUMPUR: The bodies of a Japanese couple were found in the bathroom of their apartment in Mont Kiara here.

City CID chief Senior Asst Comm Datuk Ku Chin Wah said the housekeeper found the bodies of the married couple, aged 38, at around 10am on the 13th floor apartment unit.

"We believe the husband was electrocuted while taking a shower.

"His wife heard the noise in the bathroom and came to his aid but was also electrocuted," he said when contacted on Monday.

The body of the man was in the nude while the woman was fully clothed.

It is believed the water heater unit short-circuited leading to the electrocution.

SAC Ku said the case has been classified as sudden death.

"The bodies have been sent to the Kuala Lumpur Hospital for post mortem," he said adding that police would be taking the statement of the housekeeper soon
