Talking about Storage Water Heater, do we require to service/clean it up after x number of years? It seems the one that I am using has dropped significantly (About 8 years old).
If u you notice performance (takes longer time to heat up) most probably heating element is covered with scale or calcium built up. This is common for water heaters like our kettles if we dont clean it, u will see white stuff covering the heating element. For storage heaters as they are up at the ceiling, no1 gonna pull out the heating element for cleaning.
for those who are looking for a better storage heater, can try Hydro One as they are using ceramic heating element (not copper by regular storage heaters). Energy saving as it only requires 1.5kW to have a heating time as fast as copper type 3kW. High resistance against scaling and oxidation, hence performance over years gonna b better compared to copper heaters. I am selling Joven & hydro one heaters

Hi there do all water heater brand with AC/DC PUMP output bar the same ?. Currently i'm having ac pump water heater but the water at rain shower is not that shiokk even i throttle my ac pump output to the max the water flow somehow the same only.
Any recommendation sifu ? Many thanks.
built in pumps memang not that powerful, AC is usually stronger than DC but still is nothing compared to a master pump. Normal built in pumps pressure is about 1 to 1.5 bar, while master pump for whole house 2.5 to 5 bar much stronger

Here is my test for Hydro1 Eco Heater (50L), energy saving with 1.5kW heating element but heats up as fast as the regular 3kW stainless steel heating elements
