Yes still hot water inside.  Depend how long it was heated.

After my wife bath, she will usually off it. And my 5-10 mins bath is still sufficient.

Read many time this kind of case. Last time got read a Sweden couple died in Thailand resort. Electrocuted by instant heater too. Also local here son help farther and both died. Some more got picture. Scary.

News normally cannot mention brand. But I know got 2 brand got such case before.

Got so much worry use gas lo. Even solar you risk lightning.

Eat also can choke. No need to eat.

In life we do all the precautions we can, if really want to go is time to go. What we can do is make sure the thing we install are safe and product we get are good brand.

Heard from radio today the water heater that cause of death of the couple is instant water heater.

I am using water heater brand is Eaga.
Seems like china brand? and very hot the water even under the condo's water tank pressure, no local product can compete so far from my experience.

I went to Homedec last Sat. There was one selling solar 66 gallons vacuum tube type at 3,800 inclusive of installation. I did not ask for warranty as i wasn't interested to buy cause i already got one. Usually they give you 10 yrs. So long as the co still survive you worry free for at least 10 yrs. The vacuum type can bring the temp up to 99 degree!

If want to centralized it, need to consider where the on/off switch or plan to switch it on 24x7? I use individual storage per toilet, and each have its own switch. Smaller tank mean faster heat up, and save some energy because don't need to heat up larger quantity of water and not using 1/2 of it.

60 gallons = 60 X 4.5 liter = 270 liter of 90C hot water.

Using same method:

270L 90C + 270L 30C
=540L  60C

540L 60C + 540 30C
=1080L 45C

1080L 45C + 1080L 30C
=2160L 37.5C

You are getting 2 tonne of water = 2meter x 2 meter x 2 meter of shower water!!!! can last you many many days shower till you die!!!

Why low price? There is no electronics except a electric heater (optional). It is only ss tank, insulation, copper coil for heat exchange, and double layer vacuum tubes.

The main solar unit itself is reasonable.

It's the piping (incl hacking of walls, repair after hacking and relaying the tiles) which adds to the expense. Can be a few thousand RM for 3 bathrooms. Not to mention the inconvenience.

You are right but if you choose centralised storage still need to do hot piping.

The cost of hot piping is not really expensive. the hot pipe come from roof to ceiling and direct down to your bathroom where you hack only one row of tiles (provided you do not want hot water for basin). The problem is piping to downstair bathroom.

There is also money needed for a pump RM1K and Rain shower set x 3 bathroom. You can get a set for RM450.

But the benefit is here who else will give you 10 yrs warranty. Mattress maybe. Worry not hot water run out you can shower for hr all at once in all bathroom and no need to stop the valve while shampoo, zero electric bill unlimited hot water. You want super hot you got super hot, you want cold you have it. you can use it to kill germs or clear your toilet with super hot water. If you find any bug in the toilet, spray them with it and see they die and wash down the drain hole.

Better to use ss pipe. Cheaper and bigger diameter (thinner wall but tougher). Also bad heat conductor, lose less heat to surroundings.
