i hv bad remark for Joven....

I hv finished installed my new Joven i70P on last saturday....but not functioning..both heater and its pump..already contacted Joven...wau very slow respond...i bought 2 joven i70P..one ok..but one not ok. They even said to charge me if due to bad water pressure....i hv installed 2 water heater myself.....one ok..one not ok..

this is the first time my experience with company want to charged (during warranty)....i hv many kind of household products such toshiba,panasonic,alpha, hitachi,bee best,johnson suisse etc...they dont charge for what so ever reason (during warranty) when customer complained they have problem with the product and they came to check.

be carefull if to choose Joven....

Purchased Alpha Smart 18i from Perfect Lifestyle fair a week ago, and they have came for installation yesterday,this is the first time in my life that i am installing water heater (all the while,my parents refuse to install heater because worry of electricity leakage),and holy shit,they use a PVC pipe to connect the output of my original rain water shower output to the heater input, and now, I can see the whole PVC pipe naked on the tiles which is about 2 meter long.....

Oh my god,i really can't accept that after spent so much of money to renovate the house,and the ugly part appear in the toilet!!! Really learnt my lesson, anybody here got idea how to overcome this?? except drill hole and put the pipe inside, and redo the tiles??

Instant water heater will have this problem, any type you use sure will see the pipe. You can use stainless steel pipe that will make it nicer. Have to pay higher price.

If want to centralized it, need to consider where the on/off switch or plan to switch it on 24x7? I use individual storage per toilet, and each have its own switch. Smaller tank mean faster heat up, and save some energy because don't need to heat up larger quantity of water and not using 1/2 of it.

We can calculate:

Assumption:

1. Heater tank volume 25L
2. Heater tank temperature 60C
3. Tap water temperature 30C

Mix Heater tank 25L with Tap water 25L
= Volume 50L, temp=(60+30)/2=45C

mix the new 50L volume at 45C with another 50L tap water at 30C
= Volume 100L, Temp=(45+30)/2=37.5C

Therefore, 25L 60C hot water can give you 100L warm water at 37.5C (when added 75L of 30C tap water)

I mean cutting ss is more difficult to cut copper. ss though is thin but tough. The cutting knife blunted easily after cutting few piece unlike cutting copper. So have to use saw.

Yes there are socket you can make 90 degree turn but sometimes there are 60 degree turn or 50 degree turn or long turn (not sharp turn) due to obstacle like existing pvc pipe in the way and you need no socket to make these bends.

External pump is central pump system need to install just after the Tank in your roof.

You need to confirm your current water heater support external pump. The joven I am using already state on the box, cannot use external pump.

Hi guys, please recommend me which instant water heater with rain shower is the best.

Which quality is more good, dc pump is quiet, good pump pressure, reliable for the electric board, the after sales service, and the price which is reasonable.

Have a few brand in my mind. Please help me too choose.
