QUOTE(rattan @ Jan 11 2012, 02:11 PM) TM already stated they are having cable fault. Yeah I saw the announcement Really annoying for me, as the packet loss is screwing up my VOIP to Europe server ... phone calls very choppy and unreliable. Now scouting for SG provider that can give me UK number but via SG server at least the cables going there aren't undersea

this morning i was so frustrated with my dir-615 router..suddenly wifi connection change to "b mode"...very fkin slow.. then i try use my old router (netgear wgr614 with 1 antenna only) to bcome wifi AP... it works..........full wifi signal now eventhough my netgear router is at living room downstairs conclusion: unifi router dir-615 so cheap..usually can get 2-3 bars signal only..so weird..that router has 2 antennas..should be stronger right? lol.

I just installed my Unifi line on 6th of January 2012. Two days later, I went outstation oversea and found out that I will be stationed permanently here for 2 years.
Can I cut my Unifi subscription (Now still less than a week) and at what cost?

Yes you can. Penalty fee applicable. It will cheaper paying the penalty then keep paying for 2 years. Go to TM point and talk to them. Maybe u can bring along yr appointment letter/evidence as an appeal. If you are lucky they might waive off for u . This post has been edited by rattan: Jan 11 2012, 03:48 PM

Just got my unifi installed...5 of the contractors to came to install for me, and as expected, TM forgot to set the jumpers. Took them 2 hours to get everything up and running.
Now... is it better that I change my unifi login password immediately?

Yes, better change immediately. Btw, where yr location ? Mine is penang. The contractor kena a few times already......he said he's quite pissed off at TM cuz they couldnt complete installation for a few places, so no commission for them. In the Orange TM router user guide, it states that the usb port on the DIR-615 supports SharePort, so you can automatically share you printer or usb storage on the network. Anyone verified this? How to change? Go to myUnifi to change? I asked the contractor on how to change the password, he told me have to call unifi to change it, i cant change it manually....ask me y i wan to change....i told him i wan to use unifi email, of course i have to change the pw.
