Guy i need to ask a question. I managed to log in to my modem and I want to change the number but the new number does not work on the modem. I see a password there and I want to know is it a different password for everyone or the same? FYI, the modem is from my old unifi account and now I have a new one but I still want to use the old model so I have to change the number in the modem. Thanks in advanced

Edit : Nevermind I found my password and have successfully changed the phone number on my old modem haha

I tak faham apa number you mentioned.
You should give it a specific name. Is it your unifi account password for PPPOE or Wireless Password or Router login page password. I blur blur rclxub.gif rclxub.gif

It's not those at all. In the modem there's a login and username for the voip as well and i meant that password. It's all cool though because i found out my password already

Can linksys e2000 router be used for unifi?

I applied for unifi on Sunday, I noticed that there's now a section in the unifi form for you to tick if you want to automatically terminate your streamyx or tm homeline...

and any extra discount if i autodebit using CC?

No the modem is the old modem from my old Unifi account which has been cancelled but as you know the number is programmed in the modem so if you cannot access the modem then one modem can only be used on one unifi phone number unless you ask a tm technician to come change for you or you login into the modem and change it yourself.

Pandan Perdana. I know I was informed that my area only available ob April '12. But this is quite fast for data gathering?

hahaha. same case like me. my place should be on araound that month too, but tm sms me said go for installation. and im UNIFIED already 1 week nod.gif

i guess it depend on demand. the more ppl register unifi, tm will speed up the process... tanam kabel, pasang ftp etc.... like my place have more than 10 ppl register in my small portion area (as inform by tm tech guy when they visit my house earlier)

Wow, finally me a proud user of UniFi. Contrary to popular beliefs, you DON'T need a television to install UniFi as proved by myself, the only thing you need is at least 1 person in the house being present to entertain the technician on that day and a 4 point extension cable. Once you get a TV, you can easily setup the HyppTV by yourself by referring to the manual in TM's website, according to the operator (I haven't try yet as I don't have a TV yet happy.gif)
It took the technician barely 3 hours to setup everything before he leaves. Excellent service by TM.

My feedback on UniFi (using VIP5): Excellent!

Now finally as I dreamed, I can open up a Youtube link and watch it right away without needing to pause it (sometimes need lah depending on my multitasking activities), download a whole season of any TV series in 1 single day, download songs in a matter of seconds, and more importantly watch my favorite football matches live without needing to subscribe to AssTro tongue.gif (I am boycotting that $hit for good).

Overall I'm satisfied. Ah, good times happy.gif

Just register online, then there will be 1 option for you to cancel Streamyx (can cancel even if still within contract).
Then after install UniFi, next day just verify with TMPoint or call 100 to make sure they terminate your Streamyx.
