That test is some time before. Now can't achieve that high. But stable 5M+- now and nice ping. You're on landed property or high rise building? Nice ping there!
You're on VDSL2 or FTTH? I assume what you're saying is the orange D-Link router(DIR-615), all the LEDs should be Yellow Green when it's up and running fine. Orange when internet fails to connect. If your phone still working? If so, ring up TM and ask them to do a port reset and see how it goes. If internet still failed, might be Equipment fault or their site got connection problem. Ask them to open a report, you must request your report number to follow up and send a technician to check everything for you.

Yesterday my Unifi lost connection and signal for the whole night. Called them up to rectify the issue and it got fixed this morning. But, after the fix, I can't even stream Astro Stadium properly.. WTF! I'm currently using my Maxis to stream and it works! Unifi VIP20 inferior to mobile broadband. UNBELIEVABLY APPALLING!

Guys, would like to ask how Unifi HYPP IPTV works.

Here is the scenario. I have a Unibiz at my work area and therefore doesnt come with IPTV.

But I have IPTV at home on my Unifi residential package. I don't watch the TV at home but I need the TV at my office. Can I just plug out the set top box (STB) and plug it into my office DIR 615 port 4?

How does it work then, how TMNET 'authenticate' the IPTV subscription? Is it based on the unifi login ? Or the HYPP IPTV details is stored in the STB?

Thanks !

Is there any reason the contractor that comes for installation would REQUIRE RM2000 worth of fees to get Unifi installed? From the first page, isn't all the high-cost stuff all optional, and they would do it for free unless you request for stuff to be concealed?

Because that's what was asked for by the contractor who came to install Unifi today. Is that illegal to refuse to do it unless we pay them RM2000 for all the concealing work?

Why don't you... Take the STB, don't kacau the setting, bring to office, plug into port 4 and try first? It won't be much hassle right? I remember someone did this but I don't remember whether they changed the UniFi internet account/pass at router end or not. You might use Search to get the answer =)

Yeap, will do so, but thought of asking first to get a clearer picture. Tried search feature, couldn't get the answer lol.

i think there's a problem with my unifi, there's only 3 lights which is blinking in the black modem, green light for power and Lan1 while red for Voip. There's no light for the internet part.

anyone knows what is the problem?

besides that, the d-link router lights became 'orange' in the earth symbol part. no internet connection i guess and there's no light for the wireless part. router kaput or something?

appreciate your feedback smile.gif

8. For other non-standard installation e.g. wiring above ceiling, underground and conceal wiring, you may appoint your own contractor or deal directly with TM appointed contractor. Payment will be made directly to the contractor.

anybody kind enough to provide me a contractor number for conceal wiring around kajang area ? thanks

Chances of it to work is very low. Slim chance. A little bit of luck and some trying would be satisfactory. biggrin.gif

No one know exactly when FUP (fair usage policy) will be implemented. When its implemented it will be as the following :

VIP20 : 120GB
VIP10 : 90 GB
VIP 5 : 60 GB

Since the VoIP is also red, I suspect whole your line is down. Ring up TM for support? Perhaps ask them to reset your port first. Sometimes that does work.

take note that biz packages or not biz packages the unifi network is still the same vlan tagging still apply if your router have vlan 600, you can still use the iptv services using the stb from the home unifi, biz or not biz it still using the same unifi network, my office is using unifi biz 5mb and i'm using unifi 10mb at home but since i have astro beyond at home i bring my stb to my office and plug it to the my office unifi router (dir615) which have vlan600 tagged my iptv work fine w/o any problem.

as long you have vlan 600 tagged or set on your router you can use the iptv services what ever you are on biz or home packages as long as you have a valid iptv account that is

Apart from STB unit, you need the log in name of a VIP user and the password for IPTV to work. The unifi network is not going to let you in if you key in your BIZ user and password.

The next question is... Can you use others VIP user and password in the same time you log in the same fiber as a BIZ user?
