Guy i need to ask a question. I managed to log in to my modem and I want to change the number but the new number does not work on the modem. I see a password there and I want to know is it a different password for everyone or the same? FYI, the modem is from my old unifi account and now I have a new one but I still want to use the old model so I have to change the number in the modem. Thanks in advanced
Edit : Nevermind I found my password and have successfully changed the phone number on my old modem haha

QUOTE(IwanAGP @ Dec 12 2011, 10:23 PM) I tak faham apa number you mentioned. You should give it a specific name. Is it your unifi account password for PPPOE or Wireless Password or Router login page password. I blur blur It's not those at all. In the modem there's a login and username for the voip as well and i meant that password. It's all cool though because i found out my password already

QUOTE(IwanAGP @ Dec 13 2011, 12:29 AM) Means you got another VoIP account? Pretty awesome. Hmm... No the modem is the old modem from my old Unifi account which has been cancelled but as you know the number is programmed in the modem so if you cannot access the modem then one modem can only be used on one unifi phone number unless you ask a tm technician to come change for you or you login into the modem and change it yourself. QUOTE(rattan @ Dec 13 2011, 12:40 AM) what modem is yours ? Huawei ? I have both huawei and the old ZTE one which I am using right now This post has been edited by GreenSamurai: Dec 13 2011, 01:11 AM

QUOTE(creap @ Dec 14 2011, 09:51 AM) Hi, can anyone guide me to retrieve my Unifi password? Need it to connect to my new router If you using chrome then go into the current router page. The old router not the new router then right click on the password box and press inspect element. After that change the password type to text and voila there's your password

QUOTE(DrBlueBox @ Dec 29 2011, 06:59 PM) I am wondering instead of using the router to login to unifi, can we use the modem (Huawei) to do it instead? It's possible..i've logged into both the huawei and zte modem before and and you can change the settings in both..can't tell you more as i'm now at my hometown and therefore don't have access to the modems

QUOTE(rjb123 @ Jan 8 2012, 01:14 AM) You may google it, it's downloads from Newsgroups Nothing to PM as it's not a free service - you need to pay for a subscription. But can choose from Europe or US server. The ports used are either 443 or 563 - not sure if other ports are slow/throttled? Hmm I know must pay so you can use the usenet to download stuff from sites?
