sorry off topic for a while

my cats prefer fish boiled than chicken boil. alway they only eat little and didnt finish the chicken. maybe they r hoping to get fish.

I don't have litter box yet. At daytime, I put my cat in the lobby (a place we used to parked our bicycles). There is an open window. So, when she want to poop or pee, she will go outside to do its business. She can come in through the same window too. The problem is at night, I don't want her to get out because a lot of "pacat". I already know her schedule. She poops in the morning (after breakfast) & pee at least two times a day (morning & evening and/or night). She usually "tell" me, so I know when to bring her to toilet. Like I said, some time she get diarrhea. When this happen, I usually wake up with very nice smell in the room. No problem at all, I just clean it.

Don't worry no more. Today I bought very cheap litter box & "Clean 'N Easy" clumping cat litter, and also "Saintail" cat shampoo. I also bought a "Ubat Cacing Biasa" for cat. The instruction on the bottle only said one bottle for three time usage & one usage for every two weeks. How to use it? Do I need to add it in the water? I'm really lost.

u need a small syringe can be found at farmacy, needle is not needed, and u need to know the amount of mwdicine for your cat.

hi guys....kinda have a problem here with both my cats..they juz stopped eating since last nite..it all happen when i tried to mix antibiotic with its food for 1 of the cat but she refused to eat it until last nite so i juz take her portion n tried to feed the other cat with the same food(mixed with antibiotic pill powder). he also now refused to eat..i've tried to clean their bowls n put some new food also they juz smell it n walk away..juz dunno wut to do to get their appetite back...i give them hollistic feline caviar btw..

why dont u try A/D ?

why dont u give the antibiotic directly? did vet ask to put in their food? It's difficult to give directly as almost cat will resist. but there is techniques for that and i have been taught the techniques by a vet. i have done it to my mom's cat (about 10 years old) and my cat which was spayed last month about 6 month old.

the vet did showed me n my wife the technique but i juz couldn't get it rite...dats why i decided to make it into small pieces...tried wet food also they only smell n lick a bit then went off...dunno if have problems with their nose because of their 'selsema'.

Cats suffering from colds will definitely have trouble with smelling.
So its advisable to give them something strong smelling like fish or even better science ad just like what Shukri advised.
Sicly cats will difinitely will not resists it!

Open your cat's mouth

Hold the pill with thumb and index finger and insert the pill from side of her mouth deepest you can insert, if not deepest enough the cat can spill out.

Quickly close her mouth with two hands until u feel the cat swallow the pill. If the cat resist usually by reversing or escape backward, so u need to hold its back with your body or with someone help. My cat omei has no problem eat pill. If the pill is big, break it into two pieces. Thanks to Omei for being model.

Boiled fish has strong smell, i boiled the fish with pressure cooker for half an hour, so that the bone is soft like sardine. I keep in fridge, evertime i want to feed i take out the fish and pour some hot water so that the temperature is ok.

Yeah, is not difficult to put the pill into the cat's mouth. I learned it once and I know how to do already. Just observe how the vet's did that once and I follow

I have two ways of feeding medication to my cats.
One using the pill popper instrument. Put the pill in the instrument, open your cats mouth put the instrument and then push the pill inside. Tadaaaaa finish in just a few seconds.
Second one ois take a bit of wet food eg science ad put the pill inside and roll the food into a ball and feed it to yr cat. They eat the wet food and pill together.
Easy huh?
No struggles, no scratches

some cats will just lick the wet food off the pill, so I prefer to use cheese. I give a bit of cheese without the pill first, just to make them happy
I then give them the cheese ball with pill using the method Shukri showed, but since they just taste the cheese they don't fight so much

anybody knows where to buy cats best nature gold? it's adik beradik with oko plus. but for long haired cats.

By the way, if your cat is like most cats, it WILL resist when you attempt to open his/her mouth.
If you feel that you still need your arms, you may want to wrap your cat up in a towel.
& then, feed it's pill(s)
This saves yourself from being scratched all over.
If your cat 'merajuk', wet food should help.

If your cats continue to lose their appetite for a couple more days, you should take them to the vet.
Of course cats won't eat their meds voluntarily, but they won't generally be 'traumatized'.

Just now see got sell at pet wonderlands mid... But it in small pack...

My Sofie look happier after I bought litter box. She poops & pees now triple than before.
