yesterday when i got back from work...there were poo all over the kitchen floor...i suspected she didn't want to go to her litter box coz there were her pee n poo already...i think i need to search for the litter sand or the clumping clay...but a friend of mine suggest to use shredded paper..is it ok if i use that?

i also notice since yesterday her poo seems a bit semi liquid...i gave my cat orijen but the previous owner fed her with blackwood...can the sudden change of food can upset her stomach too?

sorry for the many questions...i'm still noob in keeping cat but i'll try my best.. 

anyone here knows the procedure of importing a cat from overseas? I'm thinking of getting a male blue BSH. Anyone here knows what to expect or knows something?

Thought of bringing a pair of BSH from there. But might as well get them from USA since i found a cattery that doesn't require their pets to be spayed/neutered.

Hi there thanks for the link. For a start to be honest, I don't mind getting one desexed blue BSH. I have that thought of breeding initially but perhaps not in a rush so therefore I actually don't mind having one neutered BSH for a long-life companionship. Since it seems you have bought one from the Bluebabe cattery in Malaysia, do you mind me asking how much did they charge you for the cat alone? I'm trying to compare the costs of importing one from overseas to M'sia or just buying one from the cattery in here. Heard they charge you an arm and a leg for a kitten. So might as well be a smart buyer and evaluate pros and cons of both methods.

And thanks for the link of the cattery in Aus. They seem to have such beautiful blue kitties. But do they actually provide international shipping for the kitties? Sorry ya if i ask you a lot of things, since you have started negotiating with them, might as well ask directly from you. 
Hi thanks for your feedback. I will try to understand about the procedures well. Quite a hassle but since importing one from overseas for a pet quality BSH is practically cheaper than buying one from Malaysia cattery. I don't really like certain catteries' policies here in M'sia, and some really put a very expensive price for a kitten for a pet quality kitten. And no, Im not talking about the BSH kitten, it's just i know some catteries over charge expensively because they are monopolising some breeds.  Some people just love to own a specific breed of cat, let's say a BSH for a long-term companion but they put a policy that if we buy from them, we have to show them off at a CFA show bla bla. I dont really agree to that policy because we buy things and then let's us decide whether to join the shows or not.

So far I have no problems in sending my cats for neutering at SPCA Klinik Kembiri.  I have sent a few stray cats as well as my own cats for neutering there and so far so good.  Price range is good as I get good price from Mr. Krishnan.  I have recently organise a SPAY/NEUTER program with a private vet in Sri Kembangan.  Package include before and after operation care and 2 days boarding.  Male is at RM70 and females is at RM100.00.

You can feed your cat with Lysinc or Vitamin B complex which will enhance your cats appetite.  For the vitamin B complex you can buy from the government hospital.  Dont buy from the pharmacy as the pills are too big for the cats.  Also Vitamin B Complex is good for the fur.  It will make your cats fur shiny and more healthy.

The best litter for me would be OKO Plus which is made from wood.  It clumps and its flushable.  Also its not smelly compared to other wood types that I have used.  Since using it my cats room does not smell like before.  Now the room is odorless.  Unbelievable but TRUE!
