does anyone know how to restore original bootanimation for my samsung galaxy s2?

i loaded a nexus prime leaked bootanim but now i want to revert back.

im using checkrom v5 and siyah 1.8 kernel

Delete bootanimation.zip in /system/media

Like I said, it's fine, except that it doesn't work with my SGP Glas. So went back to VR. A shame really.

Also, about the FB app, just turn off the notifications lar. Mine no longer wakelocking all the time.

Hehe. Did not get to all the kenals. Just looking into siyah only as i read alot saying siyah 1.8 is good in battery life.

true story, i slept 7 hours and in those 7hrs the awake bar full, wake up phone hot and 15%

BTW siyahkernal 1.8! what CPU & GPU UV/OC & scheduler & governor u all using? so many settings i dunno which one is best, now just using default values no time wan test/benchmark

Dang ADW launcher is so many times smoother and faster than the standard OS in my tab 10.1 u guys shud give it a try XD.

going through market got top new, top gross, top paid etc. is it possible to scroll ALL the apps in the category. like i wanna see ALL the live wallpapers available not just the top grossing or new ones.

before flash, make sure your's are not G version..if not, you will brick your phone..

i actually wanted to just buy iphone 4s for the camera lazy wan wait for nexus (wtf respect steve jobs dun wan do business?)

but then i saw the ram and batt (batt same capacity). i really really facepalm that one. id say the sgs2 is still stronger than even the iphone 4s in that case.

i like ipong design but because of too much limitation, feel like not a smartphone already...even kenot transfer file using bluetooth..always use this function all the time...

if just because of camera, not worth it..

now in progress backup everything..planning to flash batista foxhound 2.2..long time already use batista 3.5..like it so much as it's the most stable ROM i ever used..looks like nobody talking about litening rom already..

yaa litening and cognition like DEAD ad, cognition i heard the dev designgears sold his sgs2 for the AT&T version so bai bai development. Litening havent tweeted a single tweet in the past 2 months, so i guess he went MIA. There old fellas bored of sgs2 ad, time for new devs to replace them. Still, anyone tried cyanogen? damn tempted to flash it since they released a stable one

no problem. the best to wipe is when you load the whole ROM.

full wipe when loading new ROM= wipe user data+partition cache+dalvick cache

loading kernel= wipe dalvick cache

all of these are done through CWM.

*CWM comes with the superuser apps after you root your phone.


for TB back up, its ok to install the apps and run the batch back up to back up all of your apps.

after you load new rom, you can install TB again and reload all of your apps from previous ROM

yep, go read the thread, the dev tweeted it. Can i recommend you checkrom v5? i jumped ship after using cognition for over 2 months to checkrom v5 last thursday, and i'm very satisfied with it you can also try flashing siyah kernal but be warned siyah could be unstable at times, read the thread see if anyone reports any bad things before flashing.

Snapshot will tell everything..post some screenshots here

flashing foxhound 2.2 now..hope everything goes well..do a wipe data, wipe cache and wipe dalvick cache before flashing..

currently using touch x-power now, lazy switch to other rom plus my internet is as slow as hell
