i've seen you ask this question for some time. The definite answer for you is no. in fact i dont even notice any red light while making a call. of course my proximity sensor is working. If it does bother you, then send it to service center, if not then dont care, but it will drain your battery i can guarantee you that. I do know that the MIUI rom has a battery indication for the proximity sensor, so you can know if its really turning on by itself. Again i would suggest you also check your applications if there's any that's causing it.

how'd you expect us to help by just saying that? we're not mind readers, it would help us a lot to actually tell us exactly what you did to get that and every single details. most probably you'll have to flash again to fix it, maybe

because the screen has bigger resolution and the games will accomodate that resolution thus more pixels thus more GPU/CPU processing power is required to make those pixels. Just like PC games, if you lower the resolution, the performance will be better.

Nexus Prime specs out ad? if it's also use the quad core Mali-400, then we can expect more and more games to be support it which means more games for us

2.3.3 and 2.3.5 not much difference only. You can check this in the google android changelog, i saw it once before. I remember 2.3.4 introduces voice talk in gtalk and 2.3.5 fixes some networking things for the nexus s, nothing much related to the SGS2

You might as well use fpse and play ps1 games instead actually i find the current android games's graphics way nicer than PS1 games, especially ones from gameloft they're worth the huge ass space they take to run. if you prefer RPG games you can play Final fantasy using PS1 or you can get Spectral Souls for RM45 some say it's the best RPG in Android ONLY for android

Hello guys i iz very sad, went try proxydroid and a few proxy apps to try and access my uni's proxy server, sad thing is it killed off my net for browser ONLY browser, that's why i know it's proxy fault, sad thing is, i reflash also no use, in the end, have to wipe luckily got nandroid backup a month ago, so guys dont play with the proxy stuffs that messes with IPtables and requires root, and always backup/sync/nandroid cheers

p/s: since post reenabled, i got new motivation to help you newbies!

yea cant access no matter what the fuk i try, all other apps can use, just internet/dolphin browsers category, cannot! as far as i know the proxy settings by default only affects browsers and not apps, thats why only my browser died, i use cwm reflash, use odin reflash, reflash modem, wipe system, reflash also cant zzzz in the end only nandroid backup can use

i9100 why pay for a different device?

different processors, so far there was one guy who did a cf-bench benchmark and he said it's 10% lower than the sgs2 i9100 non g benchmark, cf-bench is more accurate that that crap quadrant so its quite legit.

actuall your phones also have a bit of 3D, if you notice the pixels, especially the red pixels and green pixels while looking at titanum backup's black background.

Today's blunder with the net dying, flash/reflash forced me to use up all 100% in 4 hours, luckily i always bring with me my andida battery! plug it in, instant 2x battery life!

since i already have a pouch to put my earphones, why not put a battery in the pouch too?
