Standar definition of spam. Off topic, non constrictor or contributory. Stuff like yay v12. Good morning guys. I love this device. It is subjective yes but we won't go all nazi on gray areas probably. Like the past few posts about discussing on how bet to troll iPhone users. Are spam. But let's say if u chat a bit in a post that has 80% actual constructive stuff then it's not spam. Something like that. Case by case basis

What is the worst case scenario regarding battery life? Like the iPhone 4? iPhone 4 with live widgets I have like 60-40% left by lunch time (1pm) from 7am stop charging

Hmmm thanks for battery input all.
What's this on the different sgs2 version? How can two versions go by the exact same name? |

try getting a clear screen protector, spray a bit of rain x on a cloth, and wipe thoroughly. u get the oleophobic effect. doesnt last long though about 24-48 hours. maybe must try use a different type of wax solution that stays on plastic better. i used a cheap 10 bucks screen protector to try, and works like a charm like an expensive sgp oleophobic

actually i also put the iphone (i have an ihone 4) and sgs2 through some stress test, and while yes it is made of plastic to reduce weight and make it thinner (which is their selling point, we dont have the tech to make lightweight metal cases yet), the sgs2 can actually take a fall much better than the iphone 4. my iphone 4 after dropping the front glass part (the iphone is made of 3 parts, front mid and back) actually disconnected from the middle. and i couldnt put it back without voiding warranty (and i claimed warranty successful, but to my distress they didnt open my iphone 4 and put it back properly, which would be super easy, but took away my set and gave me a new "recon" set. no box nothing. just the handset). The sgs2 meanwhile, despite its flimsy appearance, actually had zero damage, largely due to the lightweight so there was little impulse force on the phone. Also, because of its cheap plastic exterior it would relatively cheap to replace any damaged parts compared to the iphone. i got a quote to fix the famouse button problem of iphone 4 from crxr (a reknown iphone repair guy in the forum) for 120 bucks!
ANYWAY, the point is despite its cheap plastic feel (and the back cover IS cheap plastic), because it IS plastic and because it IS light, it is actually quite durable. anyway, lets keep on topic and this is a discussion on GALAXY S 2 not iphone please. |

I tried both papago and sygic.
sygic's maps are based off google map's base map. Its not TOO bad, ive travelled to penang, langkawi, KL and seremban with it, maybe for some guarded community it does not have the roads, but that was the worst. papago has better maps due to community support by malfreemaps. however papago's UI looks pretty cheap and downright ugly. since i'm an aesthetics person and sygic does the job (may not be as comprehensive but i get to my destination) i decide to stick with sygic |

enough all. Get back on topic.
i had a chance to borrow the SGS2 for 2 days from a close friend to do a test with my iphone 4. i like the sgs2. i really do. but what i was REALLY hoping for was superb camera quality of the sgs2 which video reviews were showing. it is a good camera yes. especially against the stock iphone 4 cam. but once i use a third party cam, i couldnt really differentiate the two pictures between sgs2 and iphone 4 cam. when i zoomed in i got the same quality. i love the UI tho, and the fact that i can drag drop widgets at will and i love the PULSE and AP MOBILE stuff. which is why i didnt get the sgs2. im hoping the prime can blow me away ^.^ for now i get my android kicks with my tab 10.1 i see why android is famous, its like all the old windows mobile fans migrated to android after the windows phone debacle. dont talk about the dev but about the community, id say the android community is a direct descendant/legacy of windows mobile. lol flashing my android brought back so much memories |

i believe papago has an option, or preference, prefer highway to travelling through towns, always choose shortest route, avoid traffic lights, etc. all gps apps should have that

For those who want a clear screen protector and dont want finger prints i strongly suggest giving SGP Ultra Optics brand a try. Its a cross between Ultra Crystal and Ultra Matte. It retains the clarity of the screen, and doesnt have the grainy dot dot dots u see in a matte. It is still anti glare though and anti finger print. As with all anti flare, the screen will look less "shiny"
Ive tried all three Ultra series and currently stuck on Ultra Optics. For those who want the clarity and no grainy effect and yet no finger prints, Ultra Optics is a must try. |

Ultra optic doesn't scratch as easily as clear. Ultra optics is literally a middle between ultra clear and ultra matte.
