I've send my phone SGS2 to Service Center plaza in Petaling Jaya. It has taken ONE WEEK and they told me they're changing my parts.

I hope the technician DOESN'T change my CHIPSET

They state it's 1.2ghz on the box but it's actually 1.0. When i came to know of this i was like wtf, seriously.

Stucked at boot screen S with yellow triangle.

And they told me they're changing parts. As far as i know, they just have to reflash. But....the technician told me they're waiting for parts arrival. I'm puzzled

I believe it was due to wrong Kernel when I try to flash.

Even if wrong flash/semi-brick, hardware are not involved.

I'm excited yet curious as tomorrow I'm going to the Samsung Service to collect it. Will update you guys here on what parts have been 'replaced'

the reason I change is cos of the free calls. Me and my bf change cos got sick of maxis super saver. Need to wait after midnight to get saving on calls Plus got 100min talk time to any network with the data plan, can't resist

nah...it's because my EFS Folder corrupted T.T and i dun have BACKUP lol...so i send back to them...i have to say SAMSUNG SERVICE CENTER are always full of people...so that means lots and lots of things to repair..

LOL, problem is that some of us have our phones running at 1.6GHz.....and the only difference is the processor, not the GPU, so games would look like crap on a huge high res screen....and will run worse if the resolution of the game is increased

Ohh, I didn't know about the increase in GPU power....well, it needs to be much much more powerful to power a screen of that resolution....at least 4 times more powerful (find the total num of pixels and divide total num of our pixels), which it isn't.....so it should perform much worse in apps that actually use all those pixels instead of just upscaling

EDIT: it should need at least 2.5 times the power in everything to perform the same as our phones...

EDIT 2: so many websites online with leaked specs...dont know which to believe...either way, minimum 2 and a half times the CPU and GPU power

, Either way, we are talking about pushing pixels to the screen, which will be both the CPU and GPU's job...they probably upraded the CPU to handle the bigger screen but they will escape with a weak GPU for a resolution like that because it will be running our usual games, not having any more pixels

because the screen has bigger resolution and the games will accomodate that resolution thus more pixels thus more GPU/CPU processing power is required to make those pixels. Just like PC games, if you lower the resolution, the performance will be better.

Nexus Prime specs out ad? if it's also use the quad core Mali-400, then we can expect more and more games to be support it which means more games for us 

can apps like psx emulator or other i9100 apps run on the G model?

Didn't mean to cause confusion...what I meant was if you compare a screen of 2x2 and 1x1, the 2x2 has 4 times the number of pixels, so would need more power to PUSH those pixels with an image....so IF an app were to run at that native resolution, it would need a whole lot more power.
