never have any problems with too little ram, as android knows how to manage ram efficiently

Get the i9100 for sure, i19100g have no custom rom or kernels. i9100g have slightly weaker proc, but power is still similar, but just get the i9100

Haiz... last night still have quite a few wakelocks, top 2 wakelocks alarm manager and activitylaunch-manager. batt drain from 55 to 39%,but thats cuz of inaccurate battery indicator,cuz later,i reboot it,batt drop to 17%. feel like switching back to good old cognition,hope they update to ki3 fast... Does that rom have dual core script in it? Cuz one night drain abt 8% with no wakelocks.

erm ant00, is it possible to add a dual core script by ourselves into another rom?

hmmm.. cant seem to find any guide in google... can help me with it? i'd really appreciate it

so if i copy from touch x-power to cognition rom with this method, then can?

edit: weird, in touch x-power and x-treme zip files all no dual core script? what roms have this dual core script?

How to change permissions in root explorer

hey ant00,so i got the dual core scripts i needed,but i cant figure out how to change permissions, i mounted as rw, when i long hold the script and select permissions,it doesnt show anywhere where i can modify the permissions

U using the kernel that came with the litening rom? That kernel give me autoreboot issues due to auto uv too. install setcpu and set voltages to default

When i on my data,and i try to connect to wifi,i cant connect,but once i turn off data and connect wifi,it automaticly connects. i tried flashing kg5,ki1,ki4,kh3 modems but they all are sti the same. could it be a faulty wifi/network chip?

guys, my battery usage page in settings is sorta like frozen ,its just stuck. its not showing anymore awake wifi or screen on, its like it stopped recording the batt usage halfway, anyone can help me out?

some roms need as they need to flash with cwm recovery (needs root), while some dont need root(litening rom), as u can flash via pc to s2.

roms that flash using pc are used via a program called odin. just connect the s2 to pc, put s2 in download mode and select the rom file and flash it.
but majority of roms need cwm to flash, litening rom is the only rom i know that uses odin instead of cwm recovery

cwm is a shortform for clockworkmod recovery. google it to find out more abt it

ki2 is the latest official rom i think, still 2.3.3

not all phones will have same performance on same modem, you need to find what modem is best for yourself. im currently still on ki1 modem, since it dont give me wifi/data issues, so too lazy to change/afraid got some problem agn

to access cwm:
1) power off your phone
2) press the volume up, home button and power button at the same time
3) keep holding those 3 buttons till you see the galaxy i9100 stuffs, once u see that stuff, let go of all 3 buttons
4) done!

edit: should be volume up, not down, my bad already edited out the mistake
