talking abt Cashback, this is also good

Citibank Cashback Platinum

google and see the benefits
This card pales in comparison to UOB One Card/UOB One Platinum, OCBC Titanium MasterCard and Maybankard 2 AMEX.

Yes. RM50 cap per month but the 5x points are unlimited. 5x points = about 2.5% cash back.

As for Citibank Cash Back VISA Platinum, cash back for every category is unlimited except petrol which is capped at RM30/month.

Yah, besides petrol, Citi Plat CB can't beat MBB 2 AMEX. Actually, UOB One Card better than Citi CB since UOB One Card credit the CB monthly vs. Citi block of RM50.

Just to add, MBB 5X TP for all transactions versus Citi Cash Back of 0.3% for general transactions.

With Citi CB 0.3%, need to spend RM16,666.67 just to earn RM50 doh.gif

So i should transfer out all my Auto Debit ac from Citi CB tomolo and pledge them to Amex ? btw, Auto Debit on utility bills also entitle to 5X points rite?

And is Amex widely accepted like Visa/Mastercard? as i only used my Amex on pumps tongue.gif to test how good is the card.

I actually wanted the "original" American Express CC which i idolise during my school days in the eighties (yes,i am an oldcok now) I now hav most cards except RHB( hate this, terminated even my platinum) ,OUB, Diners and CIMB.

You got to be specific, auto debit for what? And how much? You no need answer it here, with that in mind, click here to read my article on MBB 2 where I compared to OCBC Titanium MasterCard. After reading that, actually should read this first, click here to read my article on OCBC TMC. After reading the two articles above, I am sure you will know what to do.

As for places that accept AMEX, read thread below:

The 4-digit code is the CVV. AMEX uses this, unlike Visa/MC which has the CVV at the back of the card.

No m2u bill payments available for AMEX so far.

Yes, there's this "cukai perkhidmatan" thing, but it's only a few cents.

amex.customercare@maybank.com.my

They mentioned 3-4 weeks. Not too sure when it took effect because my bills are dated around 11-15th each month, while i submitted the request at the beginning of August. So I still had to pay August's bills myself. September bills onward on auto-debit.

You can try to go to TMPoint to change the name. I think your sister got to be there to change it. If not, the other way is to cancel your current subscription, and register for a new account.
