QUOTE(echoesian @ Oct 16 2011, 11:29 AM) Maybankard 2 now only limit to RM50 max rebate per month, so which one is better OCBC TItanium or Maybankard 2? I thought ocbc titanium also limit to RM50 per calender month? In addition, there are no pts to collect or further cash back if you max out RM50 cash rebate while for MBB 2 Amex, you still entitled to 5x treat pts... QUOTE(fruitie @ Oct 16 2011, 06:48 PM) Why don't take both? That's the best combination. if usage not that much, it will be not worth it..OCBC Ti can use during weekdays and Maybankard 2 Cards can be used during weekends. I'm planning to get an OCBC Ti too to pair with my M2Gold Cards. Added on October 16, 2011, 6:24 pm QUOTE(echoesian @ Oct 16 2011, 06:46 PM) That a big disadvantage considering utilities bill amount is quite substantial... I'm in dilemma in choosing whether this MBB2AMEX or OCBC Titanium since it can give 5% for utilities I think just 2 factor to consider gua.. convenient and more cash back? lol..This post has been edited by celaw: Oct 16 2011, 06:24 PM |

QUOTE(staind @ Oct 16 2011, 08:15 PM) Take both. if utility bill is "substantial" for the usage, I don't think his/her usage will be very much.. it will become a "loss" to her considering the gst from both cards.. therefore I would suggest her to take the most convenient card..Pay utilities using OCBC TItanium. If you purchase anything over the weekend, put MBB2 Amex as 1st priority. If can't be used at the merchant, then use OCBC Titanium since it is giving at least 1% cash back. If going overseas, put MBB2 Visa/Mastercard as 1st priority due to its lower foreign exchange rate. The RM50 X 2 = RM100 service tax can be easily earned back. |

QUOTE(ronnie @ Nov 25 2011, 12:33 PM) So you can indeed get cash with 2 PayPal users helping each other. User A links his PayPal to Maybankard 2 AMEX User B links his PayPal to Maybankard 2 AMEX User A transfer PayPal funds (>RM400) to User B User B transfer PayPal funds (>RM400) to User A User A withdraw RM from PayPal User B withdraw RM from PayPal User A & User B MUST TRUST EACH OTHER QUOTE Debit/Credit Card Fee But it is worthwhile as 5% rebate already more than enough to cover the fees and u earned 5x pts somemore 2.9% of total amount sent plus $0.30 per transaction (the sender decides who pays this fee). Outside the US Small fee of 0.5% to 2% (depends on destination) when fully funded with bank account or PayPal balance. 3.4% to 3.9% if paying with a credit or debit card. QUOTE(MilesAndMore @ Dec 9 2011, 06:57 PM) To all Maybankard holders out there, Maybank just adopted a new policy regarding online transaction today. Starting today, you will need to call Maybank before making any online transaction using your AMEX so that they can open the line for you or else, your card will not go through. Just happened to me. Not too sure about Maybankard VISA/MC though. I had called AMEX CS just now as I want to pay ACCA annual fees online. The CS said that just need to call 1 time only to update our mobile phone no so that they can call us if there is any suspicious transaction. Don't need to call them every time doing online transaction. |

QUOTE(Gen-X @ Dec 10 2011, 06:28 PM) This is what I was trying to point out in my other posts, what if our phone is switched off and the transaction was approved since we did not notify MBB that a fraud was in progress whereas MBB have notify us. I think they should apply msos system like visa/master... |

QUOTE(zenquix @ Jan 8 2012, 11:11 AM) That is a program which give u chips that must roll one round before you can cash out.. I swipe for this pp program before and it is treated as retail transaction..So I think there is something wrong with their terminal or amex system on that day.. my friend had already filing a dispute... Just want to know is this an individual case or many people also facing this problem on that day.. This post has been edited by celaw: Jan 8 2012, 10:49 AM |
