Today, I made another change of Statement Date from 18th to 14th by calling the CS. Let's see if Maybank has plugged the loophole below.

QUOTE
I found a loophole in Maybankard2 when you change the statement date.

My original Statement Date is 26th of each month.
I requested to change to a NEW statement date, which is 18th of each month, on 15th of June.

Because this, Maybank didn't create Statement for 26th of June but getting it on 18th July instead.... No CC interest until 8 August 2011

Where my 5% rebate?  hmm.gif

Does any of your transaction dates fall on weekends (Sat and Sun) ?
i.e. 3-Sep, 4-Sep, 10-Sep, 11-Sep, 17-Sep, 18-Sep, 24-Sep, 25-Sep

Need to confirm something here

If my statement date is on the 18th, which mean my payment due date is on the 9/10.

Let's say my statement amount is RM1000 (all using Amex during weekend), next month will rebate RM50. So for my payment I can pay RM1000 or RM950? of course besides the amount after that there's still some outstanding amount from post statement date.

Thanks for the advice in advance.
*
I can CONFIRM you can pay RM950 as the rebate posted is considered as Payment. Did that for the last few payment cycle without any late charges/interests

is it more worth to get the visa or master card version?

My preference is Mastercard

Only those transactions done on 29th/30th must be posted on or before 31 October 2011 to be part of the October's RM50 rebate calculation.
