When should we redeem the gst using tp? Before or after it appear on our statement?
Is the gst based on calender year or our card issued month?

after. even if u pay first rm50 bank will still credit back rm50 on next statement.

eh the "EZYPAY 0% for PLATINUM VISA and MASTERCARD and WORLD MASTERCARD", u stated "Maybankard 2 Platinum not included".

but i did received it by mail. now i only have maybankard 2 amex & mc plat. if mbk2 plat not included, why i'm receiving it?

the t&c stated "This promotion is open to all Maybankard Visa & MasterCard Credit Cardmembers (except American Express Charge and Credit Card, Corporate Cardmembers, Debit, Visa Debit)".

you are right, just read the T&C also, that's for skipping the T&C, haha. In MBB Promo website, click here to see it, it was mentioned the 0% EzyPay Exclusive for MBB Platinum and WorldMasterCard.

Just reread the 1st page of the pdf ad also, it says that additional TP for Plat cards. Thanks for reading my article and highlighting above notworthy.gif

Maybankard 2 Cards FAQ:
2. The rebate is usually credited to the AMEX card on the 1st or 2nd of the month.
I checked my maybank2u Transaction history, but no rebate (credit column). I`m a new to this card, since mid of Sep-2011.

Where my 5% rebate? hmm.gif

There isn't a rebate column. Go to Accounts --> AMEX 2 --> Transaction History --> and there should be a row for Cash Rebate.

As told by Gen-x, look at the rows not the columns. Look at the row dated 1st October 2011.

if want to look for the column, look for "Local currency" then "Credit" (the most right column).

It will be charged straight to your card, you wouldn't know the exchange rate until it appears on your M2U.
Usually AmEx has higher exchange rate compared to VISA and MasterCard.

Other people can correct me, I might be wrong. I only used once to pay my Flickr account.

Oops, I missed out this point. I tried using AmEx and wanted to pay my Flickr Pro account using it and it was a hooha for me. sweat.gif In short, got charged few times but luckily got all the charges reversed. sweat.gif

In the end, I linked my AmEx to PayPal and paid the Flickr Pro account using PayPal. Hassle free. biggrin.gif
Yes, I got the 5xTP and I purposely waited till weekend to pay it and I got 5% off as well. biggrin.gif

Hi Fruittie,
How long does it take for the transaction to be reflected in your account for overseas transaction?
