Not much for Visa since they're promoting for AMEX.

YES. You combine TP from both cards for redemption.

Yes, you're correct as long as it's under TP system.

One thing I like about Maybank's TP is - evergreen!

Won't expire unless Maybank decides to revise its program... sweat.gif

hmm, so it's quiet risky to use amex when overseas if there's difference in time with malaysia
we might be end up being charging more due to lack of the 5% rebate

has anyone tried with hongkong/ taiwan?
do they post their transaction date on the same day itself?

Today, I made another change of Statement Date from 18th to 14th by calling the CS. Let's see if Maybank has plugged the loophole below.

QUOTE
I found a loophole in Maybankard2 when you change the statement date.

My original Statement Date is 26th of each month.
I requested to change to a NEW statement date, which is 18th of each month, on 15th of June.

Because this, Maybank didn't create Statement for 26th of June but getting it on 18th July instead.... No CC interest until 8 August 2011

When should we redeem the gst using tp? Before or after it appear on our statement?
Is the gst based on calender year or our card issued month?

GST is charged on the anniversary month e.g 1 year after card issued. Some banks allow you to redeem the points before it i shown in statement but you can always redeem the TP to offset GST after it is shown in the statement.

Inflation does happen.

My previous round of RM100 Jusco voucher redemption only costs 16,700 TP.
Current best rate is 20,000 TP at 1U.
Going to do another round to get ready for shopping.
