I need a couple advice here, I have a merchant who wish to refund me money on the product I have purchase back in 2015. Due to inactivity and I was studying in UK my maybank account was closed automatically.
Here I need to request a statement claiming the account is closed in order to redirect for the merchant to refund me in other methods. I tried visiting a branch in Maybank they claimed to no details of mine but still manage to pull out the dates account was closed and my past banking transaction. However, they refuse to issue a simple statement to advise my merchant on this. How do i proceed from here? Thanks!
Is it possible to enable oversea payment through m2u for my Maybank Debit card so that it can be used for payment in overseas without going to Maybank branch?

As a saving account la. You need at least have an account with bank first right?
FD is FD. SA is SA. still 2 different things wat. u can open any SA u like, but once put into e-FD, u don't get those SA benefits.
if you heard cimb hacking case from last year, u won't put your money into their savings. the whole database was compromise and most information was sold to Indonesians. I'm one of the victim. when i made the police report, the IO told me there were many cases with cimb. so upto u to use cimb. to me, not worth the hassle. If I'm you, I will throw all my money into public bank e-FD.
ok I read something else as well. currency conversion if u do in advance, no fee charge. if u overspend your foreign currency and system need to convert existing RM balance, will charge 1%. NOT gooding at all. Bak to bigpay
