Anyone know if there is any way to check my account balance for Public Bank debit card for the past 6 years? I can only see the details for the last 6 months.

Is it possible to enable oversea payment through m2u for my Maybank Debit card so that it can be used for payment in overseas without going to Maybank branch?

Anyone know if we can get debit card the day we apply in bank, or need to wait few working days?

Anyway, how do I know if my debit card has current account. I have both Maybank and Public Bank at the moment and I am in oversea now.

Whenever I insert the public bank debit card, I can choose saving or checking account on the ATM machine and it can read my balance without any issue, but for my Maybank Debit card, if I press current account on ATM it will be rejected from the machine instantly, but when I pressed saving account it has no issue showing the balance. Does that mean my Maybank debit card has no checking account? Anyway I am using Basic Maybank debit card and with M2U savers

For those who have changed to a new Debit card because of the expiry date.

Do you have to change it in bank before the expiry date?

How long does it take to get a new one? Do you get it on the spot on the day you changed or will they send to your address?

Read online (mostly American sites) that they will ship a new one automatically to your home address right before expiry date, so not sure how Malaysian bank works.

Went to HSBC branch (nearest to my IC address) on Thursday afternoon and they need many of my documents and said will do background check first before can be approved. But the staff went ahead and give me documents to sign and ask me to wait for call

I thought straight away can get debit card?

For Maybank Debit Card, is it possible to renew it if the expiry date is like 3 months + away?

Living in oversea now and seldom come back to Malaysia and plan to renew first and get new card.

If possible, can I get new card the same day I go to the branch or need to wait days/weeks for them to delivery the new debit card?

It seems like I don't have to go to counter, just use the kiosk and insert my old card and can get new card instantly!
