Haha I made my debit card, but made wrongly. Took the master. Have to go back to bank after my Taiwan trip. Actually one BP is nothing. But ya, better than none.

1) yes you will. I have one basic saving and one normal account. Gonna terminate the normal account. Normal account RM15 for the stupid debit card while basic comes with free annual fee for the card. Difference is the withdrawal limit. One is 8 times a mth, one is unlimited.

2) it's tied to the CASA. So my answer is in no.1

FD is FD. SA is SA. still 2 different things wat. u can open any SA u like, but once put into e-FD, u don't get those SA benefits.

if you heard cimb hacking case from last year, u won't put your money into their savings. the whole database was compromise and most information was sold to Indonesians. I'm one of the victim. when i made the police report, the IO told me there were many cases with cimb. so upto u to use cimb. to me, not worth the hassle. If I'm you, I will throw all my money into public bank e-FD.

roll monthly 3.2% also can get rm16.

ok I read something else as well. currency conversion if u do in advance, no fee charge. if u overspend your foreign currency and system need to convert existing RM balance, will charge 1%. NOT gooding at all. Bak to bigpay
