Most of BSC 1A/1 start wet works i.e wall plastering etc...KLK progress very fast..Quality of works so nice

How much are you paying for the monthly interest for you loan atm? Mine so far, KLK have just charged my bank the 1st 10% for the land works. But from the pictures above, seems like most of the durantas progress are well ahead of that.

I dont think any of the units will be used as show house since only very limited corner units are left unsold.

Just wondering if there's any chance of collecting the keys by year end.

from what i observed from afar, KLK is building them row by row, so some will be faster.

developers sometimes used showhouses from an earlier phase as a site office for sales of later phases, to showcase their workmanship.
Or maybe KLK wants to see if everything matches before applying to other units.
I think the almost ready ones in the pictures are just one or two units of each Bromelia and Duranta.
If they build too fast you will also feel worry.

There is a renovation forum up there with lots of experience forummers. can ask there. Then come back and share with us
Also have to check the engineering - if the pillars are designed to support the extra weight of your whole family have BBQ on the porch.
may have to add reinforcement and more pillars if not strong enough.

By the way, is any Durantan thinking of 'straigthening' the stairs so that it doesn't 'eat' into the sitting room area?
Bromelia has the 'straight stairs' design, which takes up less space.

Sorry for kepoh-ing other people's house design. just curios.

From the brochure, it says reinforced concrete roof for the balcony. Seems sturdy enough but hopefully the beams are up to it.

From the Duranta's main entrance picture, it somehow feel like a 22ft instead of 24ft wide house. Usually with such shot, a 24ft width house (some developer already categorizing it as superlink) is quite obviously wider and grander; although on paper its only 2ft difference. Or its just me?

@awiwa, i actually prefer the staircase like that. Not that i'm really into fong sui, staircase which leads directly to front door isnt that good. If you need inspiration, I got some interior pictures on how to deco such stairs. If nicely done, there is no doubt it will be among the main highlight of the house.

Just received two banks offer home loan.

Ocbc offer loan up to age 70 at BLR - 0.24% (with optional 20% extra loan for renovation interest rate at BLR - 0%).

Rhb offer loan up to age 65 at BLR - 2.45% (was having bad experience with Rhb in previous home loan, always late release progressive payment during construction period).

Different of about RM10 saving, if choose Rhb, but Ocbc offer additional renovation loan... Tought decision.

Any advise? Thanks.

Hi, I am also a banyan buyer. I signed the S&P in July 2011 and paid the first 10% but until now ie. February 2012, KLK hasn't requested for even the first progress payment. Wonder what is going on and what causes the delay? Did you pay your progress payment? The staff there said they build block by block and haven't come to my row of houses yet. Can any banyan semi-d buyers confirm on this?

Paid 1st progress 10% in early Jan.

Last check some lots got pillars, and probably one unit is being built (showhouse?).
Otherwise nothing except flattened land.

Checking again this weekend. Will try to sneak in like OMH did
