Has anyone tried e-mailing KLK to ask about installing more points (A/C, electric, shower hot cold) using own contractor?

I've e-mailed twice to klkpd@unifi.my but still no reply. The PIC is Lawrence.

If anyone else is interested, I thought of writing them an official letter with our names and info (house no etc)

If we make all these additions once the house is complete, we need to hack the walls again and it will be extra cost. I checked with friends in prop line, and they said this addition won't affect CF as we're not making structural changes.

You people thinking so far ahead, already plan renovation.
Maybe can get together to buy in bulk, get group discount e.g. solar power unit
If the supplier is assured of few units in one area, maybe can get good discount.

Usually quite difficult to get developer to do something not already in the S&P, as can get very messy.
KLK is not the super friendly type, if you ask me.

yes we should definitely group up for renovation - cabinets, a/c, etc. Get one or 2 good contractors who can do everything and give us group discount biggrin.gif

thermal insulation- is that expensive to do? how much heat does it reduce vs the cost of installing? long term maintenance cost involved or once off installation?

i wonder how noisy it'll be for the banyan semi-d owners considering the main road is nearby...other issue is the constant dust and dirt for the next 10 years =.=...but i guess that's factored in to the cheap price..semi-d's staring from 650k is quite hard to find

don't forget the DASH highway is coming up...once it's done, in less than 20 mins we can travel from BSC to The Curve/Hartamas. Upon completion, the value of properties in BSC will at least double from the price now. http://www.prolintas.com.my/dash.php

don't worry too much about restaurants and amenities as the shoplots are all sold out (except couple of bumi lots) and i'm confident businessmen will set up restaurants & convenience stores. slowly the rest will move in

this area has potential to grow like Setia Alam - a lot of land, major highways nearby, majority chinese owners, and renown developer. land for hypermarket has already been allocated near the second phase of shoplots so it will be there one day. even land for private school has been allocated. suggest you guys take a proper look at the plan in Menara KLK's office.

What I would worry about is the current state of the LDP towards Kepong toll will be WORSENED once the mall opens up next to the highway. Making it worse is on the other end of LDP near KJ there's ANOTHER MALL! So pray DASH highway is done soon, until then it's north-south highway + guthrie

and they don't buy this because they feel it's overpriced compared to their current dwelling? or compared to other developments? if compared to current dwelling, of course it is. if compared to other developments, i think it's competitively priced.
